    The washer itself works great. There is one problem. The agitator tends to capture sheets and pillow cases so I have to remove the agitator from time to time to release the item that it decided to eat.

    Great features and qualities but very noisy during use - at times it sounds like there are mechanical issues such as metal on metal grinding and buzzing electrical short like noises? Not sure it is for everyone but beats the GE supersize capacity it replaced!

    Called Best Buy Geek Squad regarding our warranty and they are not able to send repair people out at this time because of Corona Virus. Happy with the machine and it is a small leak and we can wait for repair.

    We researched all of the better washers and decided to get the largest with an agitator. it is still he and the controls are simple. Our clothes were not coming clean in the old LG washer without an agitator. The water miser did not allow for enough HOT water to clean and the clothes were all twisted and had to be unwound before drying. This Maytag is 5 Stars in my book.

    Had front loading LG washer that lasted around 5 years. Previously had Maytag top load that lasted almost 20 years. Top loader more reliable & required less maintenance. Washing machine service company we use recommended either Whirlpool or Maytag for best reliability. All has worked well so far. Would recommend to anyone.
