After looking at several different brands I chose this model. It is very efficient as it actually spins before washing to determine the amount of water needed. The only drawback that I have found to this point is it's on the louder side ... mine is in a mud room so once the door is shut it's not much of a problem

I only have it a few months so far no issues somehow the water doesn’t fully empty from the tray at the end of cycles, plus when it’s time for rinse cycle all trays fill up with water not only the softener tray.

This dryer is nice looking. I took a star off because it does make a loud noise that my son says it sounds like a huge printer machine. It does have many options to help with different washing needs.

We were told from the Best Buy sales man that the Maytag washers had fewer service calls than any other brand. However the washing machine broke within the first 3 month's Bought it on 6/15/2019 it broke on 6/2819 It was repaired on 7/12/19. The water valves were bad.

No issues with the machine for about 6months then the digital dash starts acting up. It has a lot of features that I don’t use. Still a good buy if the electrons hold up

Had one in white for a month before it got wet when basement flooded. Bought same washer in metallic slate. Love this color so much better. Commercial style makes me wash less loads than before.

The water quit filling after 30 days and now 6 weeks without a washer and wanting us to wait another 3 weeks. Maytag cannot get parts to fix it. Cannot get anyone at Best Buy or the geek squad to tell you anything or fix this. Don’t buy this it’s junk

I have had this washer 3 weeks. So far so good The machine does not allow you to select water level. Uses a sensor. Laundry comes out reasonably clean.

This machine never fills up with enough water to even cover the clothes, no matter what setting I put it on, especially Deep Fill. If I want to pay for deep water, I want that choice. I have never had a machine that makes such a snarl of the clothes in the wash and spin process. Everything is twisted and wrinkled. For someone who needs to control the cycle in order to dye fabrics in deep hot water, this machine is completely useless.

Loved the style and the top view glass. It just took soooooooo long to wash one load. Good item for patient people. :)

Absolutely love this washing machine, I can probably say with all confidence that this the best washing machine I have ever owned! Best Buy has always been great, my go-to for most electronics these days!

Tangles clothes, doesn’t fill up with enough water, I’m just not satisfied at all

Very well made, easy to use. Like the detergent dispenser, keeping detergent from going directly onto dark clothing .

I absolutely love my new washer. It is beautiful. My clothes are so soft and smell wonderful! Also, I like that it is a top loader, as I have learned that the front load washers have a tendency of causing clothes to stink.

This machine broke down 5months after buying...getting it fix was a nightmare.

Quality of washer is tough, commercial grade. however i have it a 4 due to the noise level it makes. other than that highly recommend

We bought GE but it was loud and wouldn’t drain on day 1 .. Exchanged for Maytag and no problems .. Best Buy even matched GE price for Maytag

The description is misleading. It makes you think you can control the amount of water you can run a cycle with. Even though you select “deep fill”, it still uses sensors and fills the tub to a predetermined level. Only on occasion does the water level cover the clothes. Soap residue gets left on the clothes because there isn’t sufficient water coverage. Using the “extra rinse” feature only extends the cycle time to close to two hours! And, clothes come out with dry spots having never touched water! What nonsense! Part of the problem with the clothes not being pulled into the water is there are no paddles on the lower part of the agitator, rendering it useless. What good is an agitator where the paddle portion is above the waterline? I wanted an washer that was going to work the way washers have worked for decades. Clean clothes, effectively. I pity the young people today that think this is as good as it gets. Machine makers had to “get fancy” with all the cycles and doodads, trying to outdo one another with gadgetry, only to make washers that can’t get clothes clean, and take hours not to do it...

Hard to get use to new technology. Lots of bells and whistles. Overall likely as good as it gets.
