There is an "End of Cycle" chime that is almost inaudible. I have to put my head against the control panel to hear it. The local Maytag dealer said that Whirlpool will not authorize a repair because it is working as designed. This is horrible. Maybe Geek Squad will be able to help me after the Factory Warranty has expired. It took me two weeks just to get through their horrible computer answering service. Without solid customer service, a product has no value. I am extremely sorry that I purchased this set. The dryer initially worked for 3 weeks, and suddenly no heat. When I finally got through to the local service center, it took them 2 weeks to schedule an appointment. So, 5 weeks with no dryer. The connector to the gas infighter had worked itself loose. Lousy build quality on the dryer. I'll have to wait and see how long this washer lasts. Too bad. My last Maytag set lasted over 20 years. Thank you, Whirlpool, for trashing the Maytag name.
