I purchased this washer and dryer set in 2022 to replace my previous Samsung touchscreen models, which lasted a solid 10 years. Since Samsung no longer offered touchscreen replacements at the time, I chose this brand based on its reputation from my childhood. Unfortunately, that decision turned out to be a major disappointment. Fast forward barely three years, and both units have failed. The washer stopped draining properly just six months after the manufacturer’s two-year warranty expired—regrettably, I had to purchase an extended warranty for over $300. Now, the dryer has quit heating, and I’m being asked to shell out another $300+ to fix it. I’ve had enough. I’ve moved on and bought the new Samsung Bespoke touchscreen models. What’s frustrating is that these faulty units cost more now than they did in 2022. For the price, I expected far better reliability. Very disappointing. Also, the models look very generic. Even the samsung touch screens from now 15 years ago look more modern than these, much less the new bespoke line.

Very good unit and operates as quit as advertised. Operation is easy and good

The first washer that arrived was dead on arrival. Sadly, the Best Buy delivery team said they ran a test cycle. Um, sure. Two hours after they installed the washer and left my house, I tried to do a load of laundry. No joy. After too many phone calls, it was eventually replaced and the replacement seems to work fine

The new Maytag washer is perfection. Well priced for the quality and craftsmanship. Quiet and durable. With little kids in the house, we are doing multiple loads of laundry a day--- this washer stands up to the task.

We purchased this washer to replace a top loading high efficiency machine which was only 6 months old - this tops that machine for noise, cleanliness of the clothes, timing and overall use (both Maytag machines). Would definitely recommend this machine!

Love it, very easy to wash large loads of clothing. Makes no noise at all and it washes very dirty outside work cloth nicely.

Had great luck over the past 4 decades with Kenmore. Wanted to see Maytag, made in USA. Great machine, clothes go round and round and get clean. 1st time w front loader

We had our old set for over a decade. Didn't really know what a good washer was like until we finally decided to upgrade. This washer is so much more efficient than our last one. It has a lot of great features as well. I highly recommend this washer.

Excellent machine, holds plenty of clothes. If i had an issue it would be the count down upon starting. Id be ok it it just started when i hit start. But, i get it running through its programming before it starts.

We had a lot of trouble with this unit not wanting to do a small load or large load but I guess we have altered our loads so the washer is happy but we are not. There is no function to rinse a load two or three extra times. Limited options from the panel to do what you want. The washer does not spin at a high enough speed to get the water out of the clothes so our clothes dryer is working overtime. Our old less expensive Samsung was great at spinning out the water. We are not happy with this washer and we should have returned it when we could in the first 14 days but we had just moved and we were very tired and in a sea of moving boxes. Now we must suffer with this Maytag washer until it fails enough for the geek squad to agree there is a problem; geek squad has a lot of BS excuses for bad products these days so be very careful; if you think your covered you might be or maybe not, and be ready to argue if you need to use the geek squad you paid for.

This machine has been a hassle. I’ve owned it for approximately two years and have had multiple service repair appointments from manufacture warranty period to Geek Squad’s. They’ve replaced sensors, circuit boards, and now the motor on my latest repair service. I will also not buy from Best Buy on major appliances again. I thought purchasing a protection plan would be great if needed but not a routine call for service. Come to find out, it’s not Geek Squad coming to your door but a third party that will take weeks to finally complete a repair. Be ready to frequent the Laundromat while waiting for repairs to be completed if you do decide to purchase this machine and from Best Buy.

terrible. first few days door got locked would not open, under store warranty so the came could not open and replaced 10 months later same exact thing and now I have to deal with Samsung I think? it is expensive what there'll? I have had washer so much cheaper last for 10 years.
