Steep learning curve to the controls / cycles compared to the last Maytag front loader we had. I just want to wash clothes in cold water... don't need all of the other cycle choices afforded by this machine, but your mileage may vary.

Had to buy another washer which lasted only 7 years *Whirlpool Cabrio). We still have the Maytag gas dryer 22 yeras old. This one will probably last just as long. Maytag is the best.

I am not very tall (about 5'2") and I have trouble getting all of the clothes out of this washer! Not only do they stick to the sides, but the washer is very deep. Since it is not a top loader, when I open the door, there is not much light inside. If I miss a piece of clothing because it was stuck to the drum and I wash the next load with bleach....well....you get it! I might have to invest in a pedestal and some type of portable lighting.
