We purchased this around the first of September, by December 1 it not longer worked. We had a repairman visit and his words were that this machine is a new model but he has seen more problems with this model than any other Maytag washer. In our case 6 parts were ordered and the backlog for this model’s parts go into next year so we will be out a new machine for at least 5 weeks. Not good when you have seven people spending a week with you during the holidays. Maytag was basically too bad sorry for the inconvenience and good bye, it’s your problem. We have geek squad but they say it’s Maytag’s warranty. We had another brand and it failed after 6 years still the manufacturer gave us a laundry allowance - Maytag gave us grief and no answers saying there are no issues with the machine despite the number of failures. Look at their website and see that about 15% of these machines fail within 6 months. We loved it until it failed. A necessity for some of us is a large reliable washing machine. My wife loves it!

This replaced a 9 year old Maytag Maxima Washer. While I spent nearly the same dollars as I did 9 years ago, this washer lacks an interior light, has a plastic window rather than the thick glass and is slightly noisier. Maytag used to be a premium line but, now seems like just another Whirlpool product - Good but, no longer great

Great item. Clothes are so soft and clean! The steam feature makes clothes so soft.

Easy to use and does a great job cleaning. Especially like the 16 hour fresh hold option.

We've tried 4 different types of detergent, including the Maytag Swash brand but clothes (especially towels) are very rigid. Also tried extra high spin cycle, less detergent, but having the same result.

There is no light on inside The soap dispenser seems cheap I am disappointed

Purchased this Maytag washer after our first and only Maytag set died after 34 years. We have not been disappointed - the Maytag continues to live up to its name. Controls and timers are easy to use and they guide you through every step of the cycle process. No problems, concerns or service issues so far.

I absolutely love my new machine! It’s easy to use and cleans even better than my old Maytag front loader that finally went kaput with the heavy door the hinge was cracked and couldn’t be repaired or replaced, I had it for many years so I’m not going to complain I hope this fantastic machine lasts as long!!

So far so good. My only complaint is the end signal is hit or miss. Sometimes it notifies you and sometimes it does not.

We purchased the stack Maytag high-efficiency would recommend to anybody looking for something for ease and quality of cleaning the drying features are excellent and the washing is perfect. The wrinkle free in the steam though is absolutely excellent we’ve recommended it to all of our friends

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS MACHINE!!! You will be throwing your money away. Had it for 5 months, machine doesn’t spin clothes they are soaking wet. Maytag giving me the run around sending repair people that don’t know what they are doing. Beat buy doesn’t do anything g because i didn’t purchase additional protection from them. Good way to stand by what you sell.
