Washer is so great no need to guess load size it automatically calculates! Quiet my bedroom shares wall with Laundry room. I NEVE HEAR IT! Cleans everything I have thrown at it. SUPER Capacity. My Cali King comforter washed without a hitch! Truely happy!

This washer is easy to use. Cleans excellent! The quick wash cycle and spin and dry cycle are excellent. Not only are my clothes clean but the extra spin and dry cycle has decreased my dryer usage. Another great feature is the self cleaning air freshener cycle my washer never has any mildew smells. Highly recommend this washer

This Maytag Front Load High Efficiency Washer has exceeded my expectations. I researched different front load washers as my LG washers was starting to make loud bearing noises. So I purchased the Maytag, and sure enough, 2 days before delivery the LG died. my wife and I have both noticed how much quieter the Maytag is than the LG ever was, and the clothes come out clean. if my dryer dies then I will get the matching Maytag dryer.

Purchased this washer a little over 3 years ago. Clothes would still smell after wash, and would require a 2nd wash. In addition, the washer would display a certain time (lets say 15 mins) remaining for wash to complete. I would come back after fifteen minutes, and the washer would still be running and would display/require additional time to complete the wash cycle. Always heard Maytag was one of the best brands for washing machines, but this washing machine underperformed vs my previous LG washer. I have my new LG scheduled for delivery later today.

Very pleased with my choice so far. It is very quiet. The multiple options allow for you to customize your cycles to appropriately clean the type of load you have, even down to how soiled your clothes are. It has a very large capacity. I am just curious as to how the door will hold up; it is completely made of plastic. The unit I replaced had a much heavier door made of metal and glass. Time will tell, but over all I am happy with this purchase.

Needed to replace 15 year top loader washer and dryer. Began doing research and had to scratch top loaders off the list because of all the design changes in the past 15 years. Set for a front loader on a pedestal and began research on all the options. This model fit the bill: manual controls, all the basic washer functions as default but easy to change to more advanced settings, did not require the use/fill of a detergent reservoir allowing the use of any cleaner/detergent with a wash cycle and Maytag had good reviews of product reliability. After using the washer for a few months and comment on it's use: it does a good job with soiled clothing, I make sure to at least shake off the clothing before washing then set the soil setting to the appropriate level for the dirt grim - in this grass, dirt and soiled from working in the yard/garden. If you have stains (oil/blood) you will need to use a solvent before washing. I like the fact that it allows the use of any detergent so if you have outdoor clothing which requires special detergent there is no conflict. Just a note some of the 'fragrance' detergents will linger in the wash, so you may need to use a wash cycle to clear out the smell. Yes, there is some water in the seal but I just take an item from the wash (face rag or towel) and just wipe the seal before tossing the item in the dryer. Then I leave the door open so it can air dry. One important step in the setup is the make sure the installers properly secure the washer to the pedestal and use an actual level to make sure the feet are level and then lock them in place.

This washer is far quieter than others we’ve experienced (LG, older Whirlpool). There is essentially no vibration during spin and clothes come out very dry. Controls are simple and intuitive. It also has a large capacity. We had Maytags in our last home for over fifteen years and they were bulletproof. I am expecting a repeat performance.

This washer is quicker than my previous Maytag and quieter. Only issue is that sometimes the detergent drawer sticks a bit.

I love the washer and EXTRA POWER option. It is quiet when operating. The only con is the alert tone when the wash cycle has completed is not loud enough. The tone should be probably three times louder.

Pros: Beautiful and quite Quick delivery Cons: Somehow the clothes are damp dry and all cycles take longer time to wash, compare to our previous whirlpool. We tried all different cycles and get the same results. Now we have to set another spinning cycle before we send the clothes to dryer to save drying time.

Been less than a year and the machine stopped spinning for final cycle so I have to initiate a spin-dry cycle manually after each load. Otherwise, it's great!

Had just a few problems when we bought the washer no one knew if the boats came out of the back when we purchased it everyone was not sure but after doing extensive history checks we found out that they do remove the bolts out of the washer when we first purchased so all in all everything was great had no problems on getting it from point a to point b very kind and friendly employees at Best buy so thank you Best buy once again

This American made machine is amazing. Our clothes are cleaner than ever. The sanitizing cycles leave everything bright and fresh. The machine produces these results with very little water. The dial -instead of incomprehensible computer commands, makes learning how to use this machine a breeze.

I seriously loathe having to do laundry... That is... Until I got this machine. It's super simple, and it looks super fancy, but that's not where the awesomeness ends! This machine has so many settings you will soon realize you've been doing your laundry wrong your whole life. It will get your loads so perfectly clean, you won't hate everything in your closet anymore, and it cuts down on drying time because it spins everything so dry... For the first time in my life I don't have to sit by my washer praying, doing a spiritual cleanse to exercise the demons, or do the ancient booby dance in the hopes that my bras make it through a cycle in 1 piece... This machine is amazing!.... Now I just sit by my old dryer praying that it will soon realize it's no match for this beautiful new contraption, and will move on to its final resting place, so my husband will let me buy the matching dryer.

I bought the 4.8 had the 4.5 it was 2 yrs old didn’t work they came out 3 times factory couldn’t get the shocks right so they exchanged it with a new more expensive one steam in it. It runs washes extremely well. It’s a winner
