Easy to use, low noise and does a very good job getting cloths clean. This is my second Matag front loader. My last one was about twenty five years old.

Very nice product, not sorry I chose this Maytag washer to replace our old Maytag. Very similar but w/steam upgrade. Our clothes are coming out very clean & fresh, as I would expect.

So this was my second washer after I had to return a damaged Whirlpool. I'm going to break this down into pros and cons. Pros: It has a huge capacity It looks beautiful It's pretty quiet Clothes are fresh and cleaner than my previous whirlpool model. Cons: the doors are super light and border on feeling cheap compared to the much sturdier feel of the Whirlpool frontloader.That being said my whirlpool had a lot of weird glitches , this has not. The 3 second countdown to start the thing gets old quick! The delay wash doesn't work.. the washer times out before the countdown is done..which means you may wake up to dirty clothes in the morning. Not a con but, but a very useful note. The drain!!! If you are in a home built before 2005.. your drain connection may be at the bottom in your home. The connection for this machine is at the top! Meaning if you may need to get a drain extender to have this set up how you would like. For me my stackable became a side by side which sucks. If you know this in advance it's fine. Unfortunately I didnt get this info until delivery and set up. Bottom Line: A few annoying quirks, but it washes like it should. And hold a massive amount of clothing.You have no doubt your clothes are clean when it's done. I strongly reccomend you go to the store and press the buttons and mess with the doors before you purchase. Time will tell how this holds up, but the reputation of the brand makes this feel like a very sound purchase.

The washer is great just an f.y.i if you have a geek squad protection plan maytag will not let you use it till one year after purchase date maytage reserves all rights to service in that year

It is performing well and the buying and installation went pretty well although it didn't come with a hose and so we had to go and get one which was fine it just would've be good to know before and have it when the install happened.

Great washer with lots of features. Handles my king size bedding without breaking a sweat.

Excellent high capacity washer. Unfortunately it can be a bit noisy during parts of it’s wash cycle I would still recommend it.

We have only had the washer for a day, but it runs well and is very quiet, with little vibration, just as promised by Consumer Reports. Best Buy service and installation were both great!

Love my washer! The time it takes to wash is long as though. Shortest cycle is. 55 mins. At least I know it getting a good wash

We ordered a washer and dryer with pedestals. First they delivered only the washer. So, I called. Then, a few days later they delivered the washer pedestal, but said that they didn’t have an order to install it. So, I called again. Then, they sent a third crew to connect the washer to the pedestal. The washer is not starting like it should. After I push the buttons I have to go back and check, because it only starts up half the time.

Easy to use. Spin cycle is terrific....clothes take half the time in the dryer vs. my old washer.

I had hopes that this would be a great washer I purchased for my first home, and my family. HOW DISAPPOINTED I WAS! I've owned this for a little over three years and Maytag came highly recommend at the time. 1. Certain Cycles had "low flow" problems. Whenever we put the cycle on "bulky items" it was never an issue but other cycles it was a problem. It was recommended we cleaned out the trap in the back (which is a pain in the butt to get to and clean) to see if that solved the problem, it did not. 2. Any detergent pods that was HE approved ruined our clothes. The washer is so efficient it wouldn't melt the plastic on the little pods. The plastic would stick onto our clothes and make them hard as plastic when they dried. It would require another wash to fix. 2. I bought the Geek Squad extended warranty, 3 years (how stupid of me). It expired last month and yesterday the washer died, IT DIED! I had a Maytag person come out and look at it, they said it was the "Control Board" and was going to cost me $500 to fix, not to mention it was "out of stock" and they didn't know when they would have more. The control board is not covered by the "extended warranty" by Maytag. My family is my husband and I and our three little dogs. The worst thing we wash is a rug that someone peed or puked on. I'm now having to go find a new washer (not Maytag) at 39 weeks pregnant. Not what a first time mom due any day now needs to be dealing with. I find it unacceptable that big companies such as Maytag, Whirlpool, and etc. manufacture items that don't last as long as they are "suppose to", or "should" last. It's irresponsible and creates such a waste in our environment to manufacture something that lasts a few years, and costs an arm and a leg to purchase. What happened to appliances lasting 10+ years and made of quality? Those days are DEAD!

After 4 months, we were getting a suds error even though using HE detergent. There was a frustrating work-around that involved turning the power off and waiting until the washer fully unlocked itself, then removing the clothes and running drain and spin empty, followed by spinning the sopping wet clothes in batches. We called for service who found some smaller clothing items had entered and clogged the drain. These should not be getting through and we were told there was a manufacturing error, and that we will need to unclog the drain periodically. I expected a lot more from this brand. While the price seemed good, it's a terrible value for a washer that eats clothes and will probably need frequent service.

Maytag spent decades building high quality reliable machines, but there current machines are not built to last. We have owned this machine for six years and have had it serviced three times. Maytag, you need to have at least one $2k washer option that is built like a tank…consumers will spend the extra money if it is built like you use to make 30 years ago. Please bring back the quality!

We bought this set and have had nothing but problems with both the washer and dryer. If it had been just one of them, I would have thought maybe we just got a bad one but since we've had problems with both, I don't think that is the case. We have had several problems with the washing machine. The latest is it seems to get confused about what cycle it is on or should be on. It doesn't drain which causes things to get even worse. We had a repair done and they said it was the control panel. They replaced it and it worked fine for about 3 months now it is worse than before. I am not going to fix it, I am going to buy a new one of a different brand.

I love this set, I especially love the wifi enable function. I can start my loads from anywhere in the world. I would recommend to anyone. The price is reasonable and affordable for the quality.

I purchased my front load washer April 10th, & specifically chose Maytag because of it's excellence history of great appliances. But I bought a lemon, it doesn't wash the clothes, makes so many loud noises, it doesn't drain or spin, clothes are drenched, not to mention, IT'S LOCKED! I CAN'T REMOVE MY CLOTHES...I tried unplugging it, turn on and off & nothing works! DISAPPOINTED, I called Geek squad they will not help until 1st year comes around...even though I purchased 3 yr protectionI will never buy at BEST BUY AGAIN,
