Leaked the VERY FIRST TIME!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this washer from Best Buy, it was delivered by them and installed by a plumber who had to replace my water shut offs. I turned it on with a load of sheets and within 60 seconds it was pouring water onto the floor from underneath. Maytag will say they are sorry this machine didn't meet my expectations and to contact them, as they do with all bad reviews I read. However, I think it's more than just my expectation that a brand new washing machine won't leak the first time it's used. I called Best Buy to return this and will go to my local appliance store which is what I should have done in the first place.

Worst Machine Ever

Manufacturer “fixed” but it has broken repeatedly since. Luckily I have broad home coverage for appliances so they keep fixing this horrible machine instead of the manufacturer. Do not buy!!

Maytag Front End Loader MHW6630HW

Called Maytag as per warranty and they sent a technician out. He said it was the soap dispenser. Waited 2 months for the part to come in to only have the unit still leak. Also, it is super loud like you are washing bricks. I purchased this washing machine in May and have had nothing but problems with it. The design is clearly not feasible as most have had to purchase a hose extension. I would not recommend this unit in any way.

RUN!! Stick to a TOP LOADER!

Now at 9 months water is leaking again from the bottom consistently. In addition to the water leaking from the bottom my clothes are SOAKING wet after the cycle. I plan on giving this washer away and buying a top loader.

Then the cheap rubber seal cracked and water leaks out the front door. Called for repair and they quoted almost $500 to repair a $10 rubber seal. Stay away from this product.

Broke after less than a year.
