The guys that delivered it were the best yet. They were professional and respectful . Did what they needed to do and made sure I was informed and satisfied.

There were 0 reviews because this washer was new on the market, and my washer was built on 01/14/2023. Washer was delivered 02/10/2023, and I have been disappointed in that this washer needed a repair within the first year. Now, 7 months later, the same problem has occurred, and I am currently waiting to have it repaired. Machine stops draining water, then whatever you have in the machine is held hostage because the door remains locked. I tried all of the troubleshooting advice, and there is nothing that can unlock the door until the water is drained. I regret purchasing this washer. Also, some features that are missing is there is no place to add fabric softener, absence of a rinse & spin cycle, which I really miss from previous washers. Also, I had seen other reviews where it is mentioned that the water level option is not always accurate. I am very disappointed because I had heard many praises for Maytag products, and I looked forward to owning my own Maytag washer. I can verify that this model of the Maytag washer is not a good one. Owning a new washer that needs 2 repairs within 2 years has been a great inconvenience.

The absence of an agitator makes loading clothes easier. I like the deep tub and reduction in the amount of water required. Can’t go wrong with Maytag!

This washer is quiet and seems to be doing a nice joy with washing our clothes. The 2 things I don't like is the fact it is locked once the washer has started and the drum seems pretty big and it is easy to pack too many clothes in at one time. The machine works great even if it is full...but I prefer to have smaller loads .

The first washer was tipped on its side to have the box removed upon arrival. I thought such was the reason for unbalanced tub. The second delivered washer is doing the same thing. Considering it’s a new product on the market, I’m guessing I’m a Guinea pig to product issues leading into future recalls.

Is the washer out of balance?
An unbalanced load causes noise, vibration, reduced spin speed, and clothes remaining wet.
Self-Correction: The washer tries to self-correct by refilling and gently rotating to redistribute the load. If it fails, an error message appears.
Manual Correction: If a significant imbalance is detected (loud noises, excessive shaking, wet clothes), you may need to redistribute the load manually.

Is the washer properly loaded?
Place clothing in loose heaps evenly around the agitator to prevent vibration.
Never overload: Clothes should be loosely added and only as high as the top row of holes in the wash basket.
Water Level: Do not add extra water. The water level is designed for the impeller and clothes to engage; too much water causes floating and reduces cleaning action.
Are heavy or large items being washed?
Check Care Label: Ensure the item is machine washable in a top-load washer.
Distribution: Distribute water-absorbent items (quilts, blankets) in a doughnut shape around the impeller.
Load Size: Do not wash a single absorbent article (e.g., one rug); wash two or three to balance the load.
Grouping: Wash similar items together. Ensure the top of the impeller is visible.
Is the washer level?
The washer must be level, with all four feet in firm contact with the floor.
Check: Rock the washer diagonally. If it rocks, it needs to be leveled.
An unlevel washer can cause loads to become unbalanced, resulting in improper spinning, excessive noise, and vibration.

I love the setting dials the complete operation I was able to catch on to so quick. And this was actually the best price I could find this particular washer for. I also loved the availability. I will definitely be back for more shopping at Best Buy appliances.
