Worst purchase ever

I tried to stay true to the good old brands from when our parents were young. I didn’t want to purchase a washer by the same company who makes cell phones so I went with Maytag. Boy was I wrong. Its only a couple of months old and its not working despite having a tech come out to fix. It doesnt soak all the clothes til the rinse cycle starts. It hardly agitates. Sometimes it skips the rinse snd spin so I am left with soaked clothes. I do NOT recommend.

Fragile Maytag Lid Kills Machine Operation
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.AVOID MAYTAG! The lid on my machine broke within 2 years, triggering error codes and affects operation. It has been a recurring problem for years, and Maytag refuses to cover the repair or improve its product. Replacement lids are over $200 which I'd have to buy every 2-3 years. Search "Maytag lid" and read testimonials from other dissatisfied customers.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Defective under 30 days Maytag will not replace it and neither will Bestbuy I have never gone out of my way to write a review but I am very unhappy that I just spent 650. on a washer and it's a lemon.

broken after less than 2 months of light use
