Awesome machine, my wife loves it! would recommend this to everyone!

Don't know when Maytag started the production of these waterless washers, they are terrible, common sense no water no clean, this unit starts to agitate with no or very little water that can't be seen, clothes get caught underneath agitator and gets all knotted up then machine will dispense again a lil more water, this is repeated several times and final step will leave your washer with very little water to be seen, I washed 2 pairs of Jean's and 3 shirts and some socks small load, and it took 1 hour 21 minutes to complete, this means one would spend an entire weekend to wash clothes for the average family of 3 or 4 members then before you know it Monday is here and back to work.... California water requirements for washing machines are totally ridiculous, the blame is not the manufacturer's of these machines it's the regulations, or units will not pass to consumers. I think this should be changed all wahing machines I have looked for and researched are all the same High Efficiency NO GOOD wished all things were made with consumers in mind, like old days when appliances would last 20 to 30 years without out problems..

This review has nothing to do with Best Buy! We have made many purchases from them and have always had great service. I purchased this Maytag washing machine and it was delivered on Dec. 2, 2018. It recently started making a scrubbing noise so I called Maytag to see who might be able to repair in my area. Called the suggested local appliance repairman. He came out today and gave me a list of items needed....came to a total of $749.00 (includes labor). He suggested that I call Maytag because they had offered a one time warranty or sent parts for free for other customers he had. Maytag was unwilling to do anything to help. I didn’t necessarily expect help since I didn’t purchase the extended warranty. (We never purchase the extended warranties!) I just think that it is ridiculous that it needs a major repair after 18 months. Especially since Maytag advertises that their appliances don’t typically need repairs. So if you purchase this washer, make sure you purchase the warranty and expect to have it repaired before it is 2 years old. I will be purchasing a new washing machine and it will not be Maytag!!
