Customers are saying
Customers regard the 5.2 Cu. Ft. 11-Cycle Top-Loading Washer favorably due to its large capacity, effective cleaning performance, and ease of use, with many appreciating the return of the agitator. However, some users have expressed concerns about inconsistent water levels and occasional reliability issues. A longer spin cycle and potential for odor are additional points noted by some customers.

Make the controls simple and dump the board tech.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After exactly 4 years of normal use, the board started to fail and also possibly the drum or motor; or both. I say possibly because we don't know which one it is. The tech tells us is $400 to inspect it since the machine is out of warranty. The motor and water basket are supposed to have a 10 year warranty; never mind all that, I guess. The only thing 'commercial grade technology' this washer has is the sticker. Oh, and that tech that's supposed to fill-up (yes, whatever, spare me your righteousness) the basket does not exist. Stay away!

Washer Stress
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This washer only lasted 2 years and was unable to be repaired. Geek squad warranty was difficult to use and obtain a replacement.

I hate this washer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing has been nothing but problems. It doesn't fill properly and clothes still smell like outside. It barely agitates anything. 2 years later and a $300 control board is out. I'll never buy a Maytag again. Garbage.

Not entirely safe or high quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Middle piece exploded after like two years. Plastic cracked, gear shaft broke through it. Out of all the washers we owned in last 30 years, this one had the worst quality and time of life.
