Wanted this Maytag washer after reading countless reviews. This model comes in white, with the impeller, or this slate color, which has an agitator. Wanted the 5.2 cubic foot for washing king size comforter and duvet. And the extra power button is a plus. This machine does not disappoint. Read reviews where people said the water level is too low. But it has a deep fill option that lets you add water, which is a wonderful feature. Very quiet and has a buzzer that lets one know when the wash is complete. very happy with this purchase.

We purchased this washer (and matching electric dryer) when the washer in our 16-yr old stopped working. The technology and efficiency have improved greatly in 16 years! This washer has so many settings that I don't know if we will ever use them all. We went from a front loader to this top-loader after reading a lot of reviews and talking with friends. Top loaders have become more efficient. We chose this model with the agitator after a couple friends told us they felt the agitator got the clothes cleaner. Yes, we lose a little space, but it has way more capacity than our old model. We also had Best Buy install the washer (and dryer) and they were very professional and courteous.

This too load washer runs more efficiently than our previous Maytag washer of 18 years. Could be a bit quieter in operation though. Well built and Maytag app function/ control is a nice feature.

A little loud on heavy duty cycle but glad to have agitator back actually cleans clothes

This washer is fast and easy to use. I miss having a light inside the washer. The faucet is great to have. The size is perfect. My husband and myself set the washer up and even used the water connection hose from the broken washer worked perfect save us some money.

I love the washer and it’s features, however there is little information on it, as it only comes with a quick reference and set up guide. There is no full on manual. Magtag support isn’t that helpful either. Every question I had, they responded with, “I’m not sure, we don’t have information on it”. They couldn’t even tell me where in the US the machines are built! Other than that, it’s trial and error while learning the machine. Such as the “Extra power button”. Basically this means about a cup full of water and it swishes everything around for about 5 minutes before it fills up and proceeds with cleaning everything. So I don’t use it. I’m not sure it’s beneficial. But all in all, I am pleased. Oh the last thing I am disappointed in is, you only get the app for 6 months for free. After that you have to pay .99 per machine you setup to the app. None of my other appliances make you pay to use a feature of the product that you bought.

The washer works really well and looks great. It is very deep so if you are short like me you might want to keep a step stool handy! It uses very little water so you know you are not being wasteful when you wash your clothing. It also handles my quilts and large towels well. I would never had been 'looking' for a smart washer but as this one is, it is quite nice to get a text when the wash is complete instead of worrying about listening for the audio ding I was used to on my older washer.

Have always had Whirlpool products. This washes better than Cabrio, However it is noisy compared to Whirlpool

It cleans good, but is not very quiet. It is much louder than my last washer that was 7 years old. It also gives the unbalanced load error frequently for me when I'm washing my dog beds and blankets which i do frequently. This is very frustrating. Again never had this issue except for one time washing a very large comforter in my last washer. Pretty disappointed in this machine.

every single negative review is true. I’ve been using it for less than 2 years. Washer is broken. The middle part broke while washing my sweater. Ruines my clothes all the time. It gets stuck around it. Makes Loud noises. You simply can’t even wash a regular adidas men’s sweater without it coming out looking like it’s the oldest and most worn item you own. I’m so sad, I wish I could return this and exchange it with something else. How I have to wait and see if it can be fixed by geek squad.

We didnt read the reviews before purchasing this washer, and I wish we had. They all pointed out every annoying thing about this washer!! It doesnt fill high enough with water, it bangs around like its possessed if the load is unbalanced in the slightest!! Its doesn't let you fill water while adding clothes, and it takes forever for a load to wash...much longer then our old washer. The only thing about it that I like is that it looks pretty and thats it. Oh and it took 4 months to arrive!! We ordered it in December and it finally got delivered in April. Stuck with this purchase, but from now on I will read reviews before buying any major appliances again because stuff just isnt made the same anymore.

So far so good. I don't like how I have to do deep fill or max fill for there to be adequate water in the washer. But other than that it's nice and big. I'm old school so I got a agitator on purpose. Going to get the dryer next.

Wonderful washer. Love the option of small load soaking. Wash comes out clean. Great capacity for washing blankets, rugs and other large items. Very pleased with this purchase

Two and a half years ago I chose to buy MAYTAG washing machine. Three weeks ago the washer acted as if no power was connected to it none of the buttons worked and the lid was locked shut. Since the washer still under warranty we paid. I called to the store. They send a technician to look at it, he say that the computer board has to be replaced. The week after I found out that the part I need is on backorder. Today 5-02-23 after 3 week waiting I called to MayTag customer service and being told I have to wait for two more weeks. The whole experience has been an issue, that has not yet to be resolved. I only hope they will fix it soon,because I fear the washer will be moldy due to the lid being locked for a couple weeks now. It's cost us $100 just to use the laundry mat during these weeks of waiting, not to mention stress for a working family with three children.

Does not handle bulky loads well, even on bulky setting. It gets off balance a lot.

Loved everything about the washer when I got it. But it only Worked great for 3 days, about ten cycles, and then the washer quit working. Called customer service, turns out it was a bad electric board. But Maytag company replaced the washer since I only a few days.

Lots of room works well cleaning my kids dirty clothes

This washing machine was nothing but problems. In the span of 3 years of owning it, it broke 3 times always the same issues. Top load door latch always broke which then caused the washer to not properly sense a load of clothes.
