It is not quiet by any means and the biggest flaw is even if you load it evenly after the wash cycle the load is uneven and the washer stops completely. You then have to pull at soaking wet items to re level the load just to get it washed. I have had to do it 3-4 times per cycle. The banging it makes when it’s not level sounds like the whole machine is about to explode! Terrible design flaws I hate that due to quarantines and deaths in my family I missed the return date. Sure wish I had my money back on this one. The delay start is useless because if the load gets unbalanced while you are not home you come home to unwashed clothes!

Maytag’s technology ruined a good washer!

When it agitates it makes the loudest noise as if there are chains dragging in the bottom of the washer basin. It also never adds enough water to the clothes so they can be washed throughly. I can’t take it anymore!!! I called a tech to see what is causing all of the noise and why it’s doing what it is. I think I may need a replacement. Putting up with this too long already.

Horrible washer for the price
