This washing machine works as advertised. It could be better if it was a little bit quieter and if the body did not vibrate so much during some spin cycles.

Doesn't wash clean as my old Maytag.

I'll start with the positives. Heavy items don't cause the washer to rock out of control.
Negatives: Heavy items can remain soaking wet at the end of the cycle. You cannot spin again to dry without going through the whole rinse fill and spin cycles. Clothes go in dirty and come out slightly dirty instead of clean on normal and quick cycle - which take way longer to wash then my old 30 min cycle maytag. 20 mins are spent by the washer arranging the clothes and filling water before any cleaning begins. Clothes don't completely submerge in water - parts of clothes can remain dry the whole wash cycle because it doesn't get touched by the soapy water during the wash cycle. Hence why stains remain and clothes come out dirty.

I love how large the drum is and how easy it is to wash bulky items such as comforters and floor rugs. It cleans very well and it looks beautiful.

Replaced my 20+ year washer and was very leary. I had bought my daughter this same model (older year) and was pleased with the outcome. So i decided to buy myself one. I have no regrets.

Overall I am very happy with the machine. The only thing I’d would have liked to see is more detail in the instructions about each of the settings. Use of the fabric softener feature and explanation of the and better diagram of the dispenser for it. I love the size of the drum and the see through top!!

LOVE this washer! I love that it notifies my phone when done with a load as it is in the basement and we can't hear the alerts upstairs. Super easy to setup and love all the features. Be careful of high speed rinsing... clothes will become tangled and start to rip from the higher speeds. We always override to medium and no issues.

Great washer. Huge basin for washing a lot of clothes. Controls can be a bit odd because you have to make sure all the options you want (like fabric softener) are selected and turned on.

I was a little nervous after getting home and reading reviews. We have owned it a couple weeks now and it has already got quite a bit of use. We are happy with it. Have not had any issues with clothes being dry or soap left in laundry. We do not load it more than half full.

Didn’t feel like my clothes was washing that good and it sooo loud!

This is my second attempt at owning this machine. I recently returned one for having a staticky noise when you pushed the start button. Additionally, there was a clunk in the heavy-duty cycle. Best Buy sent me a new one and picked up the old one. Overall, it is good machine and washes clothes well. The lid latch is plastic and could be a problem in the future. I bought extended 5-year warranty.

I love this washing machine. We had previously bought a machine without an agitator and I always felt like our clothes just weren’t that clean. With this Maytag with agitator clothes always smell clean. And there is plenty of room for extra large loads.
