An extra rinse cycle doesn’t do the job either. Higher water level doesn’t help. It is a poor design that DOES NOT WORK. Our brand new washer also leaks water after the wash leaving clothes wetter if not removed immediately it wil take two dry cycles to dry. It is the worst washer I have ever owned. Sadly I have bought Maytags with pride for years. NEVER again. Wish we returned it immediately. Have contacted Maytag/Whirlpool which had me wait all day for a service person to not show up!

It's an adjustment to use a very automated machine - you can't just open the lid and add or remove something after it starts. Only real problem is that spin cycle dries so thoroughly that clothes are wrinkled.

Best machine I've ever owned

With five kids, eleven grandkids AND a husband my machine never seems to stop. It handles large loads extremely well. In fact I will need a new dryer to fit all the clothes in. Dispensers for detergent, softener and bleach is in a perfect spot. First time I've reviewed a product but this one is great.

The wash times seem longer than normal, but use less water. (and you can do almost 2-3 times the normal load size as before. Was hesitant to buy a washer with no agitator, but it certainly does the job. No issues with any residue like I was expecting, we actually use less soap. Wife likes using the flings/pods to keep it simple. I'm 6'4 and think the drum is a little too deep. My wife has trouble getting small things from the bottom. The dryer is larger than what I visualized - I read a review that said she was having problems closing her laundry doors - I should have measured first. My laundry is in the garage and thought it would be no issue, but of course I can't fully open my side door to the garage now. The dryer is about 6" deeper. The back and venting make it stick out further in the way of the door. GET THE DIMENSIONS especially if you have a laundry room or indoor laundry closet. I do like the fact that it has some of the newer technology features, uses less water, and looks nice. Not really one for the glass look, but hard to find a good size washer dryer with traditional styles - PLUS THEY ARE MADE IN USA!

Only problem is it does not start easily. Have to touch Start button many times before it engages. No help in Troubleshooting section. Otherwise a terrific machine.

It gets our clothes clean, and I love that there not all wrinkled up like they were when they came out of our old washer. They smell fresh, as they should after being washed.The machine has a very informative book with it on how to choose the best cycle for what type of item your wanting to wash .
