My first set bought in 1980 we sold with our house in 2003 and they still worked like new. The second set we bought in 2003 I just traded in on my current set in 2023. The washer had a slipping transmission and the dryer worked like new. We are getting 20plus years out of our Maytags so i am very please!!!

This is our first washer/dryer we have purchased and can't say enough great things about it. Can't do too big of a load. I often overfill my loads and have ruined my clothes that way. Doesn't spike up the utilities much either.

Was thrilled to get a matching set, and it is the top of the line for Maytag. However I am very disappointed with the washer. Even though the washer is a 5.3 cubic feet it does not wash any more than my previous washer. Even on the high water setting the tube is never over half full. I had expected to wash my queen size bedspread but owner manual states you can only wash a full size bedspread. We use more water now than previously due to the fact that if it is unbalanced it refills, agitates and attempts to spin again. I just washed 7 shirts and it has refilled three times attempting to correct balance so it could spin out. This is not a once and a while issue either. You could never leave the washer going unattended. Another issue is the water shuts off so abruptly that our water pipe bang in the basement and you can hear it upstairs. We have purchased and installed Water Hammer Arrestors which has helped a little but does not stop the banging entirely. Very disappointed with this top of the line Maytag washer's performance. Very over priced at nearly $1000 for the service it provides.

Wash cycles are customizable from how much water to soil levels. The app is great...you can assign tasks to family members and start and stop wash cycles remotely. I love it!

This one does not and won’t let you do anymore loads of wash UNTIL you do the clean cycle. I don’t like that. Also had an issue with adding a garment. The machine wouldn’t restart the load. I’m not even sure what we did to restart it, but it was a problem. The manual is not very detailed and didn’t offer much help

It regularly becomes unbalanced and stops. It will also finish with everything still soaking. Now it's just not staying on so I can't even use it and it's a little over a year old.
