My son & daughter in-law’s washer burned out, so, as an anniversary gift, took my son to Best Buy to check them out. Went to open box area and found this washer. Since it had a small indentation, it was discounted over $200. My kids love it and are completely satisfied!

This washing machine works amazingly. My towels, especially, feel very clean when they come out. I love the feature that allows me to rinse stains out before the clothes get washed. I was a firm LG buyer before and now I'll buy Maytag from now on.

Excellent Washer! Make sure to read up on settings and load balancing, it will save you a lot of hassle waiting on the auto balancing feature. Use the settings that are appropriate for what you are washing and you will have zero issues!

Just like any new machine, if you learn how it was designed to be used it works great. Take time to learn each setting and you will see Maytag makes get washing machines. Plus it’s actually a good looking appliance.

DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER. By the time you know you hate it, it won't be returnable. Key features at make this a nightmare: Any spin cycle will NOT release adequate water. I've experimented all spin cycles and your clothes are going to go into your dryer WET, you can wring them by hand better. Anything with weight, like 4 towels, will send it walking around your laundry room. It's a shame I can't leave the house when doing laundry because I ALWAYS come back home to the cycle stopping due to uneven load. So I have to reach in and more the 4 towels around... specifically placing them in the most human-ally balance attempt (then fingers crossed). SPIN SUCKS. Next is the area of adding fabric softener. The pull out drawer (that is SO cheap) is a joke, the fabric softener runs right out the back, and NO I'm not over filling. Or no matter how softly you slide the drawer back (like I'm pushing it back with my pinky finger) the minute it is in the back position, ALL the fabric softener drops out the back. This has happened 100 times. Next is about reaching in. I'm 5'8" and getting to the sock at the bottom isn't easy, I have to tippy-toe it! The next is probably the issue that is the worst. Your clothes will TWIST UP and stretch out! You will be untwisting all your clothes before putting them into the dryer (wet). By the way, its matching dryer (gas) does not dry. I have to put it on times dry for 40 minutes. Any other timed cycle DOES NOT DRY.
