Before the 2 months past that it took Best Buy to provide a replacement the digital screen completely quite working as well. The second unit is in place now. In the last 3 days it has developed an issue with the power button sensor. Be darned if I'm not 5 days past my return window.

It malfunctions all the time and report issues through the app constantly. Maytag does nothing to help, they just send generic responses that never actually solve anything. I'm writing this review after having this washer for 1yr and 9 months and looking to buy a new one because i cant handle the inconvenience of a washer that never works properly. Biggest waste of $1,000 ever, save your money and buy an old school cheaper one.

Had no idea what I was in for when upgrading from a humble 4.1 cu ft. washer to this. It seems bigger on the inside, like a tardis. My wife and daughter can't even reach the bottom of it when taking the clean clothes out (5' 8" or taller human required to reach everything). We now keep a long set of tongs nearby to simply flip the laundry over to the dryer. Highly recommended. The WIFI capabilities are fantastic too. Alerts us when it's done and saves everyone a trip to "check if the clothes are done yet."
