We have had it only one year, and it is making screeching sounds during the spin cycle. I am so annoyed with myself for buying a second Maytag. I bought one 20 years ago, and it also failed within two years. Never again.

This machine is simply horrible. It often goes out of balance and will bounce around. The controls are non responsive most times. The cycles will get stuck with no way to restart without unplugging the machine. I had a service tech tell me to record all issues with my phone because the machine is not recording any error codes so it must be working properly. What an utter failure of this design.

My machine started walking across the garage within 6 months of purchase so they replaced the struts. Few months later the balance went out so they replaced another part. Then the mother board went out and that was replaced. Now the locking system doesn’t work so I’m getting a new washer under the geek squad plan hope i just got a lemon and next one is better

Right before the 5 year was up our washer had an issue. It was covered under Warranty But the 2 replacement washers we have gotten have both had issues with them. Sounds like bad gears. Not a mayday fan anymore. Going this weekend to check out Lg and samsung.

The first lasted about two years and this one only about 13 months. I will never buy a Maytag device again. Their customer service was horrible.

UNRELIABLE!!! Maytag and Whirlpool cannot fix

Maytag is not what it used to be

I was so pleased with the dryer I purchased the same Maytag dryer again in A gas dryer . I am so disappointed in the performance of this dryer as it won’t get jeans , towels , or bedding completely dry. I have contacted Best Buy and they won’t come out till the manufacturer warranty is up. I

It doesn't clean the clothes, Tide powder is still on the clothing as if no water ever touched it. Now the door won't "close" (a year old) so it cannot be used. No service available for over a week. For a Maytag I am really disappointed.

My laundry came out with more lint, hair... than when using my previous washer.

However the installation portion was very badly done. :( The installer broke the cold water pipe and we haven't been able to contact BEST BUY to have it repaired. :(

Continued problems

Would have cost $600.00 if not under warranty. Having maytag come out again in 2/3 due to another noise while spinning. Got the matching dryer as well. Its making a scraping noise. It will be looked at on 2/3/23 as well. Glad i got the 5yr coverage.
