I have owned mine 3.75 years then the boatd went bad. I am replacing and not with a Maytag. (My previous Maytag lasted 17 years). Also feel like the cleaning mechanism stretches my clothes, it sort of grinds the clothes together. Even with extra water setting, doesn't add enough watet a times. Full disclosure, dryer still works well.

Nice size washer. However doesn't drain water. Have to keep on putting it back in drain and spin. Had to renew warranty to get a repair guy out her just to look at it Disappointed

We bought this machine as Maytag has better brand reputation than others in my opinion. I was warned not to buy it, but we did anyways as there were no other options available during early post-covid era. This beast is now a standing concrete block in our w/d room with an onboard circuit error. Maytag charges $384 for a $900 unit, for a circuit which only cost $30. The total cost of ownership is just insane on it. Stay Away from Maytag.

Worst of the worst! Absolute rip off! Maytag customer service is the worst! We purchased matching washer dryer end of 2021. Beginning 2023 it started leaving tiny stain spots on the whole family’s clothes. We thought it was a maintenance issue even though we follow the manual. Spent $700 replacing inner/outer drum and transmission. Now it’s doing it again. Service tech said these are know for this problem. Maytag should replace this machine but they won’t.

Loud. Doesn't always spin. User manual not thorough. Sanitize with oxi cycle exists but nowhere in the manual does it say which tray to put the oxiclean in. Pitiful excuse for a washer I will never buy a Maytag again.

This washer is a nightmare. Have not had it over 2 years and the washer keeps giving “error, no water detected”. The water turns on and is distributed into the washer, only to then drain out of the washer and never actually fills the drum. It is not an issue with the water line, the water goes in thru the hose and back out thru the drain 5-10 minutes later. Beyond frustrating

Words cannot describe how much I hate this thing. My job purchased one so that I could wash dog beds over night. Instead, I spend a good portion of my shifts having to rebalance the loads because this piece of crap flings all the heavy stuff to one side and all the light stuff to the other. I’m supposed to be done at 5:30 am. Because of this thing I leave at 9 am most days. I wouldn’t even use the manual for toilet paper.

After owning Maytags for over 30 yrs I purchased a new set from BB. First I want to say Best Buy has the worst customer service on the planet FOLLOWED CLOSELY BY MAYTAG. The day of delivery and installation the washing machine fell apart. The mechanism that locks the lid to the machine fell into the drum. How can an out of the box brand new washer do this???Both machines suck, not easy to use, takes over an hour to wash or dry. BUYER BEWARE, I should have purchased the LG set...

Score=0!! We’ve had nothing but issues with our washer. The motor was fried after having it for a month. It was replaced with a brand new unit - aka another piece of garbage. Our second washer has had a broken detergent drawer and a cracked lid twice. We’ve spent over 7+hrs on the phone with customer service. We continue to get the run around or told there’s nothing they can do - except offer me a coupon code to buy a new washer (when mine is only 3 years old). They’re unwilling to help & acknowledge that the left hinge on the lid is defective. The plastic cracks in the same spot near the left hinge and eventually shatters, making the washer unusable bc it will not lock. The lid has ALREADY BEEN REPLACED. However, it broke again after just over 1yr, so it’s not covered under the “warranty”. I’ve never been more disappointed with washer or a company. They make their product well enough to last through the 1 year warranty. Then everything breaks. I will NEVER EVER buy another Maytag or Whirlpool product again!! **AVOID Maytag!!**

this is a good product. I know maytag is tried and true and this stands true to the brand. I do like other brands better many times for the newer technology but I am glad I got this one.

Had this washer for a little over 3 years and it suddenly stopped turning on. repair guy says it needs a new board and not covered by warranty. Went to look at new washers and saw someone in store complaining about the same washer with similar problems. Just buy LG or Speed Queens.

Huge and Efficient, I really like Maytag products.

Still learning different options on this machine, but so far works great.

I haven't even owned this 3 years, and have to replace. I paid $1k and now it's $500 to fix. I am told better buy new.

COMPLETE GARBAGE!!! 1.5 years old and a $475 repair for two parts; actuator and cam assembly. I'd have been better off washing my clothes in a barrel in the yard and hanging on closeline than buying this piece of plastic garbage

I regret purchasing this washing machine. It's much louder than my previous machine. I tried a "fast" setting on it, and it violently rocked itself about 2 feet out from the wall. I prefer powdered detergent, and my clothes were coming out with a powder residue after washing them. I haven't had that issue before so it seemed like maybe my clothes weren't being washed as thoroughly as with my old machine.

Worst experience ever. Had the washer for 6 months and has been under repair for over 3 months with no end in sight. Maytag Warranty service does not stand behind their products and their "service" is absurd. Run!! Don't walk to another brand.

I was disappointed with the delivery team. They are not helpful at all. But the product works like a dream!
