Too many balancing issues

I decided to go with Maytag this time. I have only owned this washing machine one day, but long enough to know it isn't the one for me. I have run several loads of laundry, all different, and all but one of the loads got so out of balance that the machine was literally hopping around and knocking loudly. It was like another reviewer wrote, it sounded like a "mini earthquake." I had to readjust the loads, sometimes more than once. I would expect that to happen occasionally, but not almost every wash. I washed a set of sheets, and when the cycle ended, the sheets were in a small tight ball. The clothes came out of the dryer more wrinkled than I've experienced in the past. Also, the spin cyle makes the machine "shimmy" where anything sitting on top of it would fall. Also, as I watched the machine washing a load, the drum was making the side of the machine bulge out as it went around because there is so much play in its movement. I went back to Best Buy to select another machine, and they were very understanding and helpful. I shared my video of this machine moving around during a load. He said it is likely defective. I chose to exchange the Maytag for an LG that is the same price. I have my fingers crossed that the LG is the answer.

The rinse/spin cycle does an excellent job; at times I can just hang up the clothes to air dry. Very good washing options and digital displays. The water spout inside the washer is nice to hand wash clothes.

Had a major spill that took 3 veey large towels to soak up and all went into washer and got clean without residual smell! Take your time on choices and remember sometimes you don’t have to worry cause the machine remembers last program.

With the glass top I have just watched it going through its cycles. The auto sensing filling of the water is really a great feature. It gets the clothes real clean.
