The only brand I buy. My first set bought in 1980 we sold with our house in 2003 and they still worked like new. The second set we bought in 2003 I just traded in on my current set in 2023. The washer had a slipping transmission and the dryer worked like new. We are getting 20plus years out of our Maytags so i am very please!!!

My first set of matching washer and dryer. Was thrilled to get a matching set, and it is the top of the line for Maytag. However I am very disappointed with the washer. Even though the washer is a 5.3 cubic feet it does not wash any more than my previous washer. Even on the high water setting the tube is never over half full. I had expected to wash my queen size bedspread but owner manual states you can only wash a full size bedspread. We use more water now than previously due to the fact that if it is unbalanced it refills, agitates and attempts to spin again. I just washed 7 shirts and it has refilled three times attempting to correct balance so it could spin out. This is not a once and a while issue either. You could never leave the washer going unattended. Another issue is the water shuts off so abruptly that our water pipe bang in the basement and you can hear it upstairs. We have purchased and installed Water Hammer Arrestors which has helped a little but does not stop the banging entirely. Very disappointed with this top of the line Maytag washer's performance. Very over priced at nearly $1000 for the service it provides.

2 years after being installed the transmission went out. Cost to repair was the equivalent of a new washer. New washer was installed not even 2 months ago and back to having issues. Not spinning, motor control issues, etc. Even though the drum is large you cannot fill it to the 2/3 standard. Maybe 1/3 of the way otherwise you will have issues

Love my new machine! Still learning certain things about it but would recommend it for anyone looking.

This is a great replacement washer that I recently purchased. I felt that Maytag was a wise choice to get the job done.

My old machine gave me a heads-up when it was time to clean the machine. This one does not and won’t let you do anymore loads of wash UNTIL you do the clean cycle. I don’t like that. Also had an issue with adding a garment. The machine wouldn’t restart the load. I’m not even sure what we did to restart it, but it was a problem. The manual is not very detailed and didn’t offer much help

Love the size, just what I was looking for. I can fit a big blanket inside to wash.

This washer has worked well and is huge. Keep that in mind. I am 5’ 8” and can just barely reach the bottom of it.

We've only had this washer for a few weeks and so far it seems to work great. Wanted a washer that could easily clean my down comforter and this one works great. Just note: my old washer only took about 40 min per load, this one takes an average of 1 hr.

Amazing washer for a top loader! This is our first washer/dryer we have purchased and can't say enough great things about it. Can't do too big of a load. I often overfill my loads and have ruined my clothes that way. Doesn't spike up the utilities much either.

So far everything works well. No complaints. Like the wifi that gives you a notification when the cycle is done. Like the faucet. I’ve only had it one month.

DO NOT BIY. This washer is junk. Don’t waste your money. If you are buying because you think maytag is depenable, think again. My 4yo Maytag washer broke in January 2024. It was not repairable so i had to get a new washing machine. I purchased this washer and 7 months later it is not working. I have to deal with Maytag directly because it is less than 1 yo. Well that is a joke. I am paying for a washing machine i can’t use because it is broken and they can’t send service to look at it for 2 weeks. So if you want a headache, here is your perfect washer.

Really nice appliance. Works great. Lots of options and it does clean very well. I like the max fill option to fill up the whole tub to clean large loads.
