I can't reach the back of the tub! Idk what to say about fixing it. I like the top loaders but If I can't get my clothes out...

We have already had the dryer switched out once 2 days after the brand new one was delivered. Now the dryer is having the same problem again. F1 E1. We thought the first one was a lemon but realizing the second is doing the same thing.

Ok ok. So every washer has bad reviews. It’s impossible to find a “good” one based on what people are saying. I know how hard it is so I’m going to list my pros and cons. Pros -so much quieter than mine old kenmore front loader and it doesn’t shake my house like the old front loader. -you can fit king size bedding in this thing. The drum is plenty big. -sensors work well. I’ve never had the machine tell me it’s out of balance. -the water level if you let the sensors pick can look low, but the deep fill options (yes, options!) give plenty more water if you want. -Wash time is faster than the front loader -add water button .. wonderful if you don’t have a sink in your laundry room and need to rinse a stain before you pretreat. Cons -Wifi capable. It’s free for 6 months but then it costs 1.00 per month for alerts. Sure it’s not a lot but ehhh? -I’ve seen lots of people comment on top load machines not submerging their washables fully. This machine will not submerge them all the way unless you choose the deep fill options. So. If you like it, get it! Best Buy’s delivery was AMAZING. By far the best delivery service I’ve had and this is my second appliance delivery thru them. And they will haul away your old washer for 25 bucks. Yes please!

Don't buy without the 5 year extended warranty, and here's why, We paid best buy to install and the techs did a wonderful job. I say that, because I know from previous experience that these new washers need to be leveled correctly and not just the legs, theres something inside that needs to be tweaked. The days of plugging in and washing are over. Washer was extremely quiet and clothes came out very clean. It handles our king size comforters well. With that said, after just 2 years the washer started making noise. I called Geek Squad and someone was available that same day. The technician came, opened the machine made some adjustments and we were back in business. He did however show us wear on the shocks and suggested we replaced. He order the parts which were delivered to our door four days later. We had already scheduled the return appointment, so the technician came back and finished the job within two business days. Overall I am very pleased with my experience and the machine, EXCEPT had I not had the insurance, it would have cost me $440 on a TWO YEAR MACHINE!! I would have been livid, just like some others.

This washer does a great job managing regular laundry loads. I really like the notifications indicating load status and when a load has completed a cycle. I'm not impressed with how it handles King Quilts, so far. Pro's: 1. Easy to use - turn the dial, hold the start button and off it goes. 2. Favorite Settings - If you have favorite settings, you can set these in app and send to the washer 3. Very Quiet - I was surprised at how quiet this is washing laundry, I didn't really notice how "loud" my last washer was, but listening to this through each cycle, especially spin, it does a good job absorbing sound. Con's: 1. WiFi Setup & Remote Features - A little finicky at first, but once it did a software update, it got a little easier. It's also a bit strange that you always have to enable remote control, wish you could set it without pushing the button to enable each time. 2. King Quilts - I have to monitor the washer when washing a King Size Quilt. It becomes very unbalanced, this may be due to the "No Agitator" column in this model. It handles large mixed loads well, but I'm concerned about washing single large items as it does a sub par job rebalancing.

It holds a large amount of clothes. It’s quieter than most. But it goes off balance easily. I’m Still working on that. If you put in all blankets and don’t mix with regular clothes it’s not as often. If not for the balance thing it would have been 5 stars. Seems like al lot of choices to set up a load but was easy to navigate after the initial load

I love the capacity of this washer. It holds almost 2x my previous washer held. I like the detergent compartment and the multitude of settings available. It does a great job cleaning clothes. I deducted one star because 1) there’s no agitator (which I knew), and the lack of an agitator causes any heavy items to get unbalanced during spin, which causes the washer to stop. It once frustrated me to the point of throwing my wet clothes into the bath tub one night; and 2) the remote enable disables itself all.the.time. I don’t understand the rhyme or reason. This isn’t a deal-breaker for me, but it is aggravating.

I like it. It is quieter running than I expected after reading other reviews on a top loader. The tub is large and very deep. I am short so I have to use a grabber tool to help me grab the wet clothes after they have washed. Like that I can put a large item such as a light blanket and it stays balanced. I am careful not to overload the tub with a large amount of clothes when I do a load. Very satisfied with this washer. It is easy on my back. I like the ding it has when it is finished with a wash.

Im so irritated. This washer worked ok (was fine with regular loads but sucked with towels or blankets, would shake back and forth constantly) but it DIED on me this weekend out of no where. Mid-cycle and full of water. Now it wont turn on or drain. Apparently the control board/power board went dead and Maytag wont do anything about it. That was a waste of $850!! Now I have to buy a new washer. Times are hard enough without us having to pay for large appliances bc these companies make things to break after a couple years instead of last like they used to! Ridiculous!! Horrible customer service too!

Works great! Not for short people, as it’s pretty deep. Love it. Stopped working within the first 6 months. They came out and replaced the part. Good to go. Great for washing bedding and pretty much everything.

After a month of use, we are still in love with our new washer. We can easily wash the sheets and comforter for our king-sized bed in one load. The machine is fairly quiet when it is running and the fill spout inside the machine is great for spot-treating clothes (a must with 2 children under 3 in the house!). Lots of options for wash cycles—I’ve yet to find something the washer can’t handle. I do have some difficulty reaching all the way into the bottom of the drum without a step stool, but this was the case with all of the larger top load washers we looked at in the store so I do not see this as a problem—for our needs, the size of the washer was more important.

The washer has a big capacity, it’s pretty quiet and easy to use. Each load averages around an hour to complete a cycle but you can fit so much in one load it takes me the same time to finish my laundry. There is a quick cycle which works great and it’s bout 30 minutes. Loving this new washer so far no complaints.

My LG front loader broke down after 10 years of service and I had to pick a new replacement quickly. After looking at what was available I decided to go with a top loader. This one is huge! I am 5'2" and need a step stool or a grabber tool to reach the clothes on the bottom. It can hold twice the amount of clothes that my old machine could. One drawback is that it goes off kilter easily and that means I have to climb up the step stool and re-adjust the load, not easy for me. Otherwise, it's a pretty good washer.

I also appreciate the stainless steel drum — it feels high-quality and helps prevent snagging. If there’s any room for improvement, it would be the app’s occasional lag in syncing. But that’s a minor issue in what is otherwise a top-notch, user-friendly washer. Verdict: If you’re looking for a dependable, high-performance washer with smart features that actually add value, the Maytag Smart Washer is a fantastic choice.

We are enjoying our new Maytag. It is efficient and gets the job done in a quiet mode.

Efficient washer with a sensor to tell what water level is needed. Large wash drum that balances out loads automatically. The electronic controls are very helpful. It is very easy to set and and the washer is very quiet.

It is a great washer machine. I had a Maytag Front loader for about 8 years and loved it. So I chose a Maytag brand again but top loader instead. I find that the washer itself is easier to keep clean Its huge and can fit a king comforter. Easy to use and we like the Wi-Fi capability. This is my first experience with an impeller washer and it is different than what the agitator does to the laundry when watching the cycle. Everything comes out nice and fresh and clean. The extra power mode is really for a super heavy duty load with soil / stains . I recommend using max fill otherwise it doesn’t look like the water covers the entire load in the wash cycle, however in the manual it says it doesn’t have to but I find it does a better job on the max fill setting. Maytag makes a great brand and I hope I get another 8 or prayfully more years out of this washer.

No matter the cycle, Delicates included, this machine agitates on the FILL cycle so harshly that delicate fabrics are in jeopardy of tearing. It's awful and extreme. When the tech came to the house under the warranty he mocked it and said they aren't made well and though it has a large capacity, these machines are not balanced and we should still wash comforters at a commercial laundry. When he called in about the harsh agitation in the Fill cycle he was told it requires that to break up the soap. What?!? The tech said to buy a cheap Amana like he has at home, and don't ever buy these expensive machines again as they are cheap and don't last. So, now I am stuck washing half of my clothes in mesh bags to keep from ripping them up in the FILL cycle! My last expensive LG lasted just under 2 years with no way to repair a major problem which was why we bought this Maytag. Another mistake. This also lacks the ability to run a soak cycle. The only thing you can do is just stall the wash cycle and go back and restart it manually. There are other problems, but the worst is the extremely harsh agitation in the FILL cycle. Awful machine. So much for the warranty.
