And yes I had it balanced and professionally installed. I just want this returned as soon as possible, but there is no one to take the return calls! Thankfully my old quiet machine had not been picked up and I can use that. When companies get bought out and Maytag did , the products turn to junk.

Posted .Dear Debriley: We are sorry to learn of your Dryer concerns. 90% of improper drying is due to venting issues, and not problems with the dryer, as long as it is heating. Make sure the vent is not blocked, and the air is flowing properly. You can try to vacuum out the bottom of the dryer, to remove any excess lint in the bottom as that will help to reducing drying time. If you have an old bottle brush, clean out the blower area where the lint screen is and swipe the brush to remove excess lint from the blower area. Off sensor does not function correctly

Within a few months of use the off sensor does not function properly. It beeps when it get to the en of the cycle, but then the dryers turns on itself again. Now it has also started turning on even when I have the dryers door open as I am pulling clothes out.! I am in the process of contacting the manufacturer before my warranty is over for a replacement.

Not happy with this dryer

At the highest heat setting, it literally takes two complete cycles (2+ hours) to dry a medium sized load of clothes. The install was handled by the Best Buy install team so no issue with dryer hose or hot air getting to the dryer as needed.

It took 2 full cycles to dry our clothes every single time. We unfortunately did not read reviews because we thought it would work as great as the washer but it does not. We retuned it after 2 weeks.

Sensor Failure

Best buy told us we had a 3 year warranty but would not even help us when we called in. We have been dealing with this all year, having to sit out in our garage checking the dryer avery ten minutes.

Stopped working in less than a month

It stopped working 21 days later. We didn't even get a month out of it, and the Best Buy return/exchange period is 15 days. Buy a different brand.

If you are getting heat in the Dryer, but are still having longer than average drying times, this is usually the result of a kink or clog in the venting. 90% of improper drying is due to venting issues, and not problems with the Dryer, as long as it is heating. We would recommend cleaning the vent from your Dryer to the outside and to make sure the vent is not blocked, and the air is flowing properly. You can try to vacuum out the bottom of the Dryer, to remove any excess lint in the bottom as that will help to reduce drying time.

If you are using old venting with a new dryer, you may want to pull it out and check.
