It seems a little loud and I wish the cycle complete alarm were louder. I like the wrinkle prevent feature since I often don’t hear the faint chime when the dryer stops. I prefer the lint trap in the door since removing the trap on top leaves dust on top of the dryer but I can live with it. Good capacity and seems to dry efficiently.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As a pet owner and former Samsung owner (whose dryer drum cracked on a 7 year old unit, rendering it useless) I have to say I'm very impressed with the quality this dryer, top brand that even repairman will say they receive the fewest service calls on. (Yes, I had to ask when my 2-year old Samsung washing machine broke) Which is another reason why I wanted I Maytag/Whirlpool. I also left a stellar review on the Pet Pro washing machine, as it is doing such a fantastic job filtering out all of my pet fur, I noticed I have less lint and stuff in the dryer filter

Was not concerned about pet hair which so far this thing and it’s washer has done a GREAT job with, 10/10. It does use a lot of energy/water though. Haven’t used the steam feature yet, will have to get another hose but everything else is working great so far.

I took off a point because the pet feature was a waste of money. I would have gotten a cheaper one if I had known. Also you have to hold the start button down. I thought it wasnt working the first few tjmes until I learned that.

The external lint trap looks convenient, but gets lint everywhere when you pull it out. Would like to return, but we are past the return date. On large appliances Best Buy should allow more time for returns so buyer can properly assess functionality. Dryer started to dry clothes improperly after return date. Also, no timer for dry time.

Posted .We regret that you are having concerns with your Dryer. Please check the following troubleshooting tips:
Lint Screen: The lint screen is in the door opening. Clean it after every use to prevent blocked airflow and increased drying time.
Ventilation:
AF Error Code or Check Vent Light: Check for these indicators. A clogged exhaust vent slows moist air exit and extends drying time.
Airflow Check: Run the dryer for 5-10 minutes. If the airflow from the outside exhaust hood is less than a hair dryer on high speed, clean the lint from the entire vent system and exhaust hood.
Home Venting Line: Long dry times (even if heating) are likely caused by a vent issue. The vent line to the outside should be cleaned every 1–2 years or as needed. Professional cleaning is an option.

It’s very quiet, and the matte finish makes it resistant to scratches. One of my favorite features is that the lint holder is located at the top of the dryer. My previous dryer had the lint holder by the door, which was a hassle because it would leave my clothes covered in lint. The top compartment for lint collection is much more convenient.
