Posted .Hello Cynthia! We are sorry to hear this. Due to homes having different electrical outlets, we allow the customers to provide their own power cords. As one home may have a 3-prong outlet set up and another has a 4-prong setup, or if an appliance has the ability to be directly wired, then no power cord is needed. This way a customer may provide what best fits the needs of their home needs. We hope this helps.
