Luckily, I was able to return it and get a brand new replacement. However, the washer (MHW6630HC) broke 30 days later due to a broken computer. Had I known that would happen, I would most likely have returned both and gone with a different brand. For these reasons, I cannot recommend these models.

Maytag Quality

It didn't impact anything; it was just a little noisy. I called Maytag, and they came out and replaced the motor, balancer and rollers. Dryer continues to work flawlessly, and now doesn't make any extra noise.

I wouldn’t recommend buying it unless you already have a washer that you love or you don’t care about having a malfunctioning washer. The buttons on the dryer are still touchy so be extremely careful. If you get bestbuy to install it as we did they literally warn you as they install about how touchy it is.

Many phone calls later, being put on hold, finally got it right. Has to reschedule another appointment. Stupid mistake that I had to pay for. However, the delivery guys did a great job both times.

Don’t buy

It gets stuck on cycles and won’t change drying time. Maytag customer service was kind, but the issue is not yet resolved so at this point I would not recommend this dryer to anyone. I know customer service is just doing their job and have no control over the quality of Maytag appliances, but they want me to pay for an extended service plan so any repairs are free. I’m not interested in paying for a service plan for a dryer that, at this price, should work for more than a few days without needing service.

It simply will not dry anything. Whether it’s a couple of hand towel, a set of sheets or a quilt. It literally takes hours to dry completely with no damp spots. I’m perplexed because the dryer is piping hot when I open it but the heat is not making it to the entirety of items in there. I really like the washer but I will have trouble living with a dryer that takes hours to dry a sheet.

It sounds like it going to take off, you have to leave the area it’s so loud. Best Buy was to RE plače it in 15 days now 30 days later still no replacement. I would not recommend buying anything from Best Buy or Maytag. I should have looked further before making the purchase.

We just completed our 4th Maytag service visit since purchase couple months ago as it simply will not dry the clothes without running on 2, sometimes more, cycles. With light load, can't use any of the cycles "except" timed dry and even then, machine will shut itself down before time is expired and clothes are dry. Maytag claims it functions as designed. Really????

Not worth the money
