It took over a month to get my Dryer hooked up. We put aside 5 Saturdays to wait for this task to happen. I paid to have my dryer hooked up with a propane conversion kit. It finally happened on the 5th week thanks to Miguel in the customer concierge service. This is the only guy that takes care of customers.

I didn’t purchase this item, I exchanged it for the electric model, which works fine, but the design doesn’t work stacked. I’m 5’7” and need a stool to see the controls.

Unfortunately I bought this off the Best Buy floor as an open box. I didn't get any documentation or fittings with it. Just the dryer... and the lint left in the screen from whoever had this dryer before! Turns out this dryer has been around the block a few times. Open Box at Best Buy means used merchandise. The dryer is complicated to use. There's a Normal cycle and a Regular cycle. Since I didn't get any documentation I have no idea the difference between the two. Tried them both and when the cycle ended the clothes were not all the way dry. Real pain to get the clothes out unless your a 4' person and can crawl inside the tunnel to get the clothes way in the back. Always a sock too. This dryer has been returned a few times and I'm sure because it is not intuitive to use and a real pain to load and unload. Bought a NEW dryer today (from Best Buy no less) for less money too! This Open Box goes back tonight because it's within their 15 day return policy.

Made slight noise from first install. Noise grew louder and now dryer shuts off. Haven’t even had three weeks. Best Buy won’t do anything because it has been twenty days, not just fifteen. Don’t buy this dryer or from Best Buy at all

Two down and still no dryer

The first Maytag delivered was defective so after waiting another two weeks, they delivered a second one. I didn’t even get one load dried when error codes appeared. And these codes require a service call. So Maytag scheduled it for me and now I’m waiting another week to get this dryer fixed. Wish I could say I loved this dryer, but this is my first and last Maytag appliance.
