Garbage

Best Buy beware . Maytag dryers are junk

I’ve called Best Buy and I only get the run around. Terrible terrible experience with Maytag and Best Buy !

Didn’t work from day one

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, it dries. However, the buzzer that lets you know when your load is done is almost non-existent. You can barely hear it standing next to it. This is really not a good thing. Additionally, it has this 3 second quirk. If you hold the button too long, it won’t start, and if you hold it down too short of a time it won’t start. Regardless, you have to wait several seconds to see if the lock symbol finally shows up on the screen. That’s when it finally starts. Don’t walk away before you see the lock symbol. Same goes for both the washer and dryer.

It started making a loud noise every time we would run it. Geek squad came out 4-5 times to fix the issue and the problem still continued. Geek squad did the exchange, and I will stay awy from Maytag front load.

Once under Best Buy warranty and then twice under the extended warranty that we purchased. The Maytag customer service is helpless.. even with extended warranty they require you to have the same issue 4 times before calling it a lemon. The washer has not had any issues but the experience in dealing with a clearly defunct dryer and their response to the issue has been infuriating.

Lousy Install Service

They subcontract installation to a third party who does not install because they are paid on volume. They let Geek Squad clean up the mess and delay installation another week. Assuming you can get through the voicemail hell. Again do not buy from Best Buy!!!!!!

This dryer never worked from the beginning. E3 F3 errors. The first one I recieved had E3 F3. The exchange had same errors. A lot of run around from Best Buy. 1 800 reps almost never helped. Many over hour hold times on the phone.
