I love this particular dryer. I have an earlier version and a purchaded a second one for my large, busy family. I had other brands that were not efficient and they were constantly breaking down. My appliance repairman advised I get rid of those brands because they were problematic. I insist on the Maytag brand only and I dont have any issues.

This color is a little bit more expensive than the white but it looks great in an all white the laundry room. The color is more for aesthetic, but makes it more inviting. ;) I wont say it is silent but, it’s not as loud as the other dryers. There’s just too many options and I noticed the screen shows if the clothes are still wet. Easy to use and the options just make is easier for users.

I love how quiet and efficient the machines are, I had Maytags before and they lasted 20 years actually the dryer was still working. I use my machines 4 to 5 times a week, so I needed another good set. They are beautiful! The sale, installations and set up were professionally done and I could not be more pleased.

I love it! My clothes are really clean and it is fast! Highly recommend Maytag for their dependability.

This is replacing my Maytag Neptune dryer that I purchased in 2003. So probably ask to review at 1 year, 5 years and 10 years to get a better idea of the machines performance and quality?

This was a washer/dryer going into a rental property. We had the dryer stored until we could come install it. When we arrived, the dryer had a big scratch/dent in the lower front. Alas, a new item that already looks used.

If the dryer actually turns off the clothes are never dry. The rest of the time it displays one minute left and never turns off. I have the matching washer which leaks. The repair person asked me if I smelled gas because my dryer wasn’t hooked up properly. After he left I saw scratches on the front of my dryer. Just received on 09/06/2019 and nothing but problems!

Unfortunately haven’t been able to enjoy my appliances so many issues with this I ordered Oct 24th And just had the delivery Dec 9 the delivery co. Stinks one delivery person tells you one thing and the other contradicts the other

Quiet, efficient, clean and easy to use. A very good buy.

I love the steam feature of this dryer. We tend to forget about our clothes in the dryer. It is great to have the ability to steam them so you don’t have to rewash the clothes again. My clothes come out light and fluffy not super hot like they are on fire like my old dryer. This dryer is super quiet. Love it!

Works well and like the steam function. Power button is a little sensitive. It was a little louder than I expected but placed a anti vibration mat under it and it is now acceptable.

Very quiet and drys a mix of jeans and lighter clothing completely the first time. Only issue was unexpected off gassing on initial run. Smelled like it was burning the house down and we panicked. Geek squad immediately offered to replace. Turns out that they were not versed on this being “normal”. Read up on the internet and ran it for 15 minutes and issue went away, The matching washer is really remarkable. Extremely quiet and no vibration. Lots of previous unsatisfactory experience with LG. Maytag has it figured out except for strainer access. Strainer detail is only bit that LG does better than Maytag IMO.

Quiet. Very quiet. If you don't see the clothes tumbling, you can't tell if it is on. Came without an instruction book - I understand that people don't read them, e.g., RTFM, but it not only didn't come with one, no manual is available online. You can download all sorts of stuff, but a simple how-to-use is not there. In a section of the material available there are brief mentions of some features, but this is barely enough. I ended up copying the "Features" online display, deleting the pictures, and reorganizing the lay out so I do no have simple directions. But it was a lot of work. Figuring out what the Extra Power button does by inspection was impossible for me; the online Feature section did explain its use. Features are marvelous, and they work as advertised. Best dryer I've had in over 50 years. Great deal from Best Buy. When you know what the various features are, they are easy to use. There is a code used in the display, consisting of horizontal bars to indicate that a feature is selected, or to indicate intensity of a feature. Again no explanation. They seem almost intuitive, but what do four bars indicate for "Soil"? Temp, OK; Spin, OK. But "Soil"? It takes nearly twice as long as prior dryers to dry clothes/blankets...it may be that it beats up the items being dried less that other dryers, but it is too early for me to tell that. Yet, this is a great purchase.

Easy to Use. Dries clothes as expected. Looks great next to matching washer. Pedestal is a must if you have a bad back.

I love the look of this dryer and the color is beautiful! It drys super fast and hold an enormous amount of laundry! It does sit too low and the pedestal is expensive.

Needed to replace 15 year top loader washer and dryer. Began doing research and had to scratch top loaders off the list because of all the design changes in the past 15 years. Set for a front loader on a pedestal and began research on all the options. This model fit the bill: manual controls, all the basic dryer functions as default but easy to change to more advanced settings and Maytag had good reviews of product reliability. After using the dryer for a few months will comment on it's use: it does a good job. To understand all it's functions you need to download the full pdf, the paper instructions are just basic and does not go into real detail on the functions. One important step in the setup is the make sure the installers properly secure the washer to the pedestal and use an actual level to make sure the feet are level and then lock them in place.

Very satisfied with the product, but the delivery was unsatisfactory. I explained my natural gas setup in my home during my purchase. Was told that it was no problem, the installer would take care of it. Waited 10 days for delivery and was told my shut off valve was in the wrong place, (about 5 ft from dryer), they would not install. Dryer taken away. Had shut off moved, rescheduled delivery for a week later. Installers arrived and then said they would not connect with copper source line. Interesting that the gas company, who was in my home, never said this is the case. Called my husband to inform him of the issue, and to come home immediately. Funny that the install issue disappeared and they were connecting the dryer as he arrived home. So I’m wondering, since it was a different crew for the second appointment, if perhaps it’s just easier to give the homeowner some excuse, and push it off on a different crew at another new appointment? Or was it because they didn’t want to give my husband the same excuse that I got? I only know that their attitude changed immediately upon hearing me on the phone with him. As I said, product is good- have always trusted Maytag, no matter who sells it, but this install was frustrating and ridiculous. My advice, for what it’s worth, don’t let Best Buy install your product.

To date this Maytag has performed past my expectations. I love the Steam cycle. If your clean shirt is too wrinkled to sport with your suit or outfit of choice, it is not a problem. All that is required to remedy your dilemma is to just place it into your Maytag Dryer on a brief steam cycle and presto! You now have a wrinkle free Dry Cleaners quality results for the go-to shirt or outfit of choice; without having to break out the ironing board, and stand there wasting your time!

This washing machine is the best! It is quiet, easy to use, and does a fabulous job. I am so happy with my selection.

Glad I purchased this dryer and glad I got it from Best Buy. It is a great dryer. It is quiet and it does its job. We had a problem when they brought the first one, but the people that put the washer and dryer in helped us get a replacement. A week later, I had a new dryer and have had not one problem since.
