My wife and I hate this machine after 2 months of use. Clothes are always damp when its done and have to start it again, then it shuts of after 5 minutes when we told it to go 45 minutes. There is a lint filter warning light that comes on every time no matter what and you have to open and close the door to clear it. Also the lint screen barely catches anything. It seems like most of the lint just escapes past the trap. In the store the washer and dryer set appear to sit perfectly side by side, but in reality the dryer is like 10 inches deeper than the washer and still needs another 10 inches for the vent tube to the wall, so the dryer sits way out in front of the washer. That makes no sense, very poor design! We had high hopes for this Maytag product and are very dissapointed.

Very poor drying

The only items this unit would dry in one cycle was sheets. Everything else required at lease two cycles, and sometimes three. We tried all variation of settings and had no luck. Also, the chassis of the dryer would get very warn during the process. Returned the unit the 1 week.

Poor quality product

I purchased this dryer in August of 2020. December of 2021 I’ve already put $400 in for a repair. Rollers and belt needed replacing after just a little over a year. I contacted Maytag to report the issue. They simply told me it was out of warranty. Poor quality product and company does not back up their products.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. We’ve had this dryer for 2 years, just typical residential use. It completely stopped working and paid for a technician to come out and assess. The entire motherboard has gone bad!!! One of the most expensive parts to replace that is not considered under warranty.
