    Although I have a 10 year warranty I would not recommend. For starters it’s very loud. When you put in the liquid detergent it runs to the front of the wash machine no good wash

    I purchased this dryer in March of 2019 was told it was new and under warranty, it was just a scratch and dent. Today 12/22/21 I had a service call and found out this was a 2016 model!!! And based on what the technician found it was most likely a return to Best Buy. I knew the warranty expired but had no clue that I had bought a 3 year old dryer!

    I’m in a battle to get a new dryer sent since the workmanship is so poor. Thd finush started coming of 6 six days after delivery

    Our first set that was delivered made very unusual sounds. We returned and exchanged for the same set and are extremely happy. Dries really well. Lots of settings and it very quiet. We stacked ours and love this option.

    Product fine but Rebate Not Honored

    On 9-9-15 my husband and I purchased a Maytag washer and dryer from a home improvement store Colorado. A Maytag rebate between $100-$250 rebate was promised. We never received it. Per the Maytag rebate requirements my husband submitted the rebate form online a few days later, along with a copy of the sales receipt, model & serial numbers, well within the rebate required time frame. Maytag sent us a postcard denying our rebate, stating that they could not read the date of purchase on the receipt we sent. The screenshot we took of the sales receipt sent to Maytag shows a very visible date. My husband resubmitted all of the required information to Maytag via the fax number they gave us on 9-22-15. We didn't hear back this time so thought our rebate was being processed. We were wrong. After the holidays came and went and no rebate was received, my husband called The Maytag Rebate center again.They told him during that phone call that they had not received the information he sent at the end of November. So he re-faxed the same information (receipts with date of purchase, model and serial numbers) again that same day. We didn't hear back from Maytag. We called the number for the Maytag rebate center again in April and were told that our rebate was approved but they weren't sending out rebates until 6-30-16. So we waited, trusting them at their word. (we were later told that there was no record of this conversation!) 6-30-16 came and went. No rebate. We wanted to give Maytag time to honor their word. When nothing was forthcoming we called again on 8-16-16. At that time the customer service person told us Maytag had received the information requested but that it was not received on time because the rebate period was over! We contacted Maytag, the Maytag Rebate Center and Whirlpool and none of them responded in a helpful manner. And the emails we received from them kept changing their story. First we were told they were not able to read the receipt sales date, later that they did not receive our serial numbers, and then later that the rebate was not their responsibility but the store we purchased them through. It was finally the customer service department at The home-improvement store who really listened to us and contacted Maytag, but they got no further than we did. This home improvement store ended up making it as right as they could by giving us a gift card for their store. They didn't have to do this--none of this was the stores' responsibility. So do not trust rebates offered through Maytag.

    Solid Machine, no complaint at all

    My wife picked this one out after extensive research. Nothing fancy but is a solid worker. No problem encountered after 2 months of use. The lint filter is very sensitive, which is good. She forgot to clean it for 2 loads and the machine beeps at us.

    Override the factory setting.

    Great dryer but you must refer to the product manual and override the factory settings or your clothes will not be fully dry. Also, don't waste your money on the steam version. It really doesn't do much but make your clothes wet and wrinkled.

    Got this dryer last week. Operates fine but the fact that you can't turn off the LOUD TONES that sound whenever you do anything with the machine has me ready to return it. Why do they bother letting you mute then end-of-cycle signal when you can't mute anything else. Very disappointed. Also, controls very sensitive, so if you brush them by accident they are activated and LOUD BEEPS are emitted. Sigh. I cringe every time I use it.
