My large family needed a no-frills, large capacity dryer! Why does a dryer ever need wi-fi? That's ridiculous. This American made Maytag has everything we need without all of the unnecessary bells and whistles that other companies are putting on dryers.

Seems to do a good job drying most things although the auto dryness sensor has let me down a couple of times. Could be because the settings knob is a little vague. Comments about the door in other reviews I read before purchasing this dryer are true - you really have to slam it shut.

Maytag dryer was here when I moved in over 13 years ago, was finally on it's last leg. Stayed with the Maytag brand hopefully this one lasts as long! So far so good, definitely lighter in weight has some features the old one didn't like the wrinkle feature that keeps adding a touch of heat for up to 90 minutes to prevent wrinkling.

Haven’t had a light in the dryer for so very long. It’s amazing to open the extra large dryer and actually see everything in it. Can dry many more clothes and not have to wait very long for clothes to get thoroughly dry.

The dryer does a great job of drying clothes in a good time. I wish they would sent a short guide sheet with the machine so you know what cycle works best on the load of items being dryed. You have to go online to get that information,

Our old Maytag dryer gave up the ghost so we went to Best Buy to get a new one. The new Maytag dryer we chose has larger capacity than our old one even though it takes up the same amount of floor space. Our clothes seem to dry in less time as well. Very happy with it.

Quiet efficient. But delivery was horrid and had to install it nyself lazy, disrespectful delivery crew. But Best Buy refunded the install price

I really like it. I had a surprise when I tried for the first time to dry up towels, I put 30 minutes for drying, 20 of them were cool temperature! That did not dry them. I put again 30 minutes with the same result. I read the manual and yes, that what the machine is program to, to make the linens fluffy and not hot to touch. I learned to set the machine between "more dry" and "normal" and my towels are dry, fluffy and cool to touch.

This dryer fits everything very well and dries completely with no issue. The dryer is a bit bigger than I thought it would be in my space, so make sure to measure! Fits so much, though, and a great dryer. Wanted a simple one with little to no digital stuff, and this was perfect.

Nice dryer at a good price. Has a timed setting as well as a sensor setting. Runs quieter than my last dryer. I currently own a Maytag washer and have had no issues with it- hoping that this dryer is similar.

I have had this dryer for about a month and I enjoy it. Dries my clothes! Although there is not a setting that completely dries them in one session I have to reset it. Maybe my washer holds more clothes than they dryer can handle?

We bought this along with the matching washer. My wife likes how quite it is. She feels that the cloths aren’t quite dry when finished, but this could be because she’s still getting use to it and running it long enough.

I ordered this online. everything was excellent, the price, it was delivered on the day it was scheduled and the men on the truck were very pleasant and professional. They even took my old dryer.
