It would take a very long time to finish drying clothes. When it would say it was done, the clothes were still wet! Had to leave it for at least 40 minutes at a time, for a few times just to dry the clothes.

Not Maytag‘s fault but Best Buy

Best Buy installed both times and used the incorrect plug. I opted to go somewhere else and purchase it and I had it install the same day with the proper plug and it worked just fine.

Takes two cycles to dry a medium load?

I’ve had it a few months and it consistently takes two heavy load cycles on high heat to dry a medium size load of clothes. Venting seems to be ok and had exterior vent checked too. I bought this to replace a Samsung that barely lasted 3 years and had problems right away. Also from Best Buy....

Does not heat after two weeks. Its a lemon

It's not drying it's defective. I just called best buy and told told me I have to contact Maytag. Horrible service.

Shouldn't a dryer DRY?

It is impossible to dry towels. I've tried to call the Timonium store several times about this, and the phone never works. Is this a joke?!?

Did fine then one day it quit heating up. We found out after letting it run a while the heat would finally kick on. Then about a week later, it just quit entirely. So much for Maytag quality.

It doesn't dry the clothes. We have to run it twice and sometimes three times. Checked the voltage, and it is pulling on the outlet and its working correct. Will be returning the unit.

the dryer did not get hot

Hopefully the next one will work.
