Maytag sucks

I always give second chances before giving bad reviews, but Maytag still did not want to make it right. I called the 800 num that is on all of the other neg reviews that they say to contact them, but I did and they chose to offend my intelligence. They offered me an "exclusive offer" of 20% off of ONLY their website to just buy a new dryer...the catch is when I went to the website there is a 20% sale off already. I do understand that things don't always last but support should be there for customers. Also, I clean the vents annually and the top vent every load. I am a single person that does ONE load a week of laundry....this thing should have lasted at least 10 years. I don't recommend and I will NEVER have a Maytag brand in my house again!!...ever!!!

Bought in April, already burned out!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just bought this set in April 2019, on Thursday night we heared a POP noise, smelled something burnt and it was the Dryer! We called it in and someones going to call us today to set-up an apt from Maytag. Hopefully they can replace it if its burnt out. I was only drying one set of sheet by the way. Nothing at all heavy or packed. I'm super disappointed especially for Maytag.

I bought it in December 2019 and by June 2022, it no longer blew air or got hot. The motor is fine and tumbles as well as ever. It just doesn't dry clothes. So if you need to continuously tumble something with no air or heat, this is your machine.

Poorly made

Had to have the start button replaced multiple times & then serviced repeatedly for failing to heat up. All in the span of just under two years. Disappointed because I’ve always depended on Maytag to be high quality.

We purchased a matching Maytag washer & Dryer (modelMEDC465HW) 09/01/2022. From day one the dryer takes 2, 40 minute cycles and the towels are still not dry. There are only 3 towels in the dryer. We had a repair person out & he tested the unit and said it was working properly that there was an air flow problem, get the vent cleaned out. We did. NO CHANGE. Towels do not get dry after 80 minutes on hot. I would not recommend these appliances at all. Also there is NO digital read out to let you know how much longer the cycle has to run. The wrinkle control is useless compared to the Samsung. Wish we had the Samsung's back.
