Maytag is not what it used to be

Basically the same dryer just an up to date model. I wish my old dryer did not break. This new dryer is very cheaply made. The door is very flimsy and the top and side panels buckle if you look at them. Stay away from this cheap maytag junk. This is my last maytag product ever.

I had the dryer on 12/5/2019 and till this day it still doesn't work. It take about 2-3hrs for an average load to dry. Per the rep, before anyone can come out to service, they're sending me a gadget to try and diagnose the issue and send back. Maybe Maytag and Best Buy don't care waiting this long to fix an issue but I do. My family does. I wanted to buy a pervious used dryer from a second hand store but I thought no Best Buy and Maytag are the best, I should have any issues. I MADE A MISTAKE BY NOT GOING TO A SECOND HAND STORE AND INSTEAD WENT TO BEST BUY/MAYTAG. Btw, the lint trap on the top makes a MESS everytime you open.

Installation was poor even on the second try. Still not confident that it is installed properly. Have called others at extra cost to come an install properly. Unfortunately still waiting for a reply.

This piece of crap stopped working after 4 months and the defective part has been on back order for 3 months. Still waiting on warranty repairs. Maytag and Best Buy blame COVID 19 and offer no support.

Does not dry clothes as expected

Charged twice for installation

They tell my wife she needs to pay for rigid ducts and cost for cuts to fit. She pays them again for installation. I find out and call both install company and Best Buy, they tell me this is correct.
