Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This dryer lasted 2.5 years before the sensor broke. It still dries clothes BUT will not shut off (by time or sensor) - something that could be a huge hazard + cost of our gas bill sky rocketed!

Smells like gas a month later
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The dryer works fine, except that I have to shut off/on the valve for the gas line every time I use it. I've had it for a month. The gas smell was supposed to last a couple times. I've sprayed the pipe connections and don't see any leaks, but I forgot to shut the gas valve off the other day, went to work, and came home to a house that wreaked of natural gas. I had to shut off the valve and open the windows, in the middle of January in St. Louis. As long as I shut off the gas line going to the dryer when I'm not using it, it's fine. It's a real pain though, not a fan at all.

Poor delivery service

The dryer was delivered and the technician handed my son the old dryer vent and told him to clean it for it to be used with the new dryer. Not sure why since I paid for a new one. He then proceeded to say there was a gas leak and left the house. The gas company came within 5 minutes and found a loose valve and was done in 2 minutes. The delivery tech never left the installation kit and would not return calls. The customer service at Best Buy is terrible and this will be my last purchase from them. If there was a rating less than 1 star they would get it.

Failed in 2 yrs. Warranty is deceptive.
