Not working after a month

You have to put on timed dry, push on door, press button and if it starts you have to wait for sensor light to come on and then slowly move your finger off start button. Had a Maytag before this one and loved it, it died in August from over use, this one hasn’t had 1/8 dried in it and it acts up. Repair man coming next week to look at it. Not happy at all.

Problems after 18 months

Scheduling with Geek Squad is impossible, as they do not pick up the phone and have call wait times of up to an hour. Bought a 5 year warranty that apparently I can't use if no one bothers to pick up the phone and accept the repair.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The washer did not operate properly, we returned the first one that was delivered because we did not feel it was operating correctly, clothes came out of washer with dry spot because not enough water was brought in, when water was added with a bucket to cover the clothes they did not spin dry enough to go in the dryer. 2nd washer did not operate any better it was also returned and we went to a different brand.

Lint filter clogged (nothing in filter or line). Sensor errors. Electronics burnt up. Plug short circuited. Circuit panel failure. It’s been replaced once and it’s gotta go again. So disappointing never had any issue with Maytag. Do not buy.

Doesn’t fully dry loads consistently

There have been many instances where you go to unload it and clothes are still damp and you have to run it again. Avoid this machine.

Stop working right after return policy ended. We have to call Maytag to get help. Someone showed up with bunch of new parts and replaced them. This is a 1 month old dryer.

Defective out of the Box

Returned it. Also the depth is nearly 6" bigger than the washer with the air duct on the back. Highly disappointed.

Error code and no heat

The dryer itself is ok

Posted .Thank you for the review. The Department of Energy standards state how much water any water-based appliances can use, and our washers meet all of their stringent guidelines. We would recommend balling up the clothing similar to the size of a soccer ball, and place around the agitator one at a time. We would also recommend stacking it up so it is around the sides and the agitator plate is visible with all of the clothing around it. Do not fill up past the 2nd to last row of holes in the basket to help avoid overloading. The bulky cycle will allow more water to enter the tub, but will not spin on the highest spin setting. We are sorry that you are unhappy with the design, and can note your concerns.
