    Terrible dryer! They replaced this dryer with the same one and said it was the heating element as the problem for why it wasn’t drying. Same problem. The clothes don’t dry. The stick to the side of the drum and don’t dry. Awful dryer.

    Worst Machine ever, The start button quit the second time I used it, So I exchanged it for another one then the stat button quit on me again after about 4 uses. After using this I highly recommend to stay away from all the digital stuff that is out there nowadays...

    I bought this for the large capacity, but for a regular sized load it takes over three hours to dry. When i have it on sensing, the dryer says it will run for 75 minutes when I start it, but it runs for two hours and then stops, even though my clothes are still wet.

    Highly disappointed

    After doing lots of research I finally decided on this dryer. I’ve only had it for 2 weeks but my clothes feel a little damp even after an hour and twenty minutes of dry time. Also, some of the clothes will come out with lint on them. I’ve checked everything I could think of but after reading other reviews it seems that it’s not just me experiencing these problems.

      Dear Disappointed: We are sorry to learn of your Dryer concerns. 90% of improper drying is due to venting issues, and not problems with the dryer, as long as it is heating. Make sure the vent is not blocked, and the air is flowing properly. You can try to vacuum out the bottom of the dryer, to remove any excess lint in the bottom as that will help to reducing drying time. If you have an old bottle brush, clean out the blower area where the lint screen is and swipe the brush to remove excess lint from the blower area.     Lasted about a year

    We bought this in 2019 and in 2020 it was already not working. It takes 3 hours to dry. Maytag initially said they would send out a repairman as a "courtesy". The repairman said it was our vent (it wasn't). They sent someone out again and he replaced a bunch of parts and it worked for a month. Now they are saying they won't honor the courtesy service call because it was "fixed". They will honor labor but not parts (so now we are basically stuck with this lemon if we can't get ot fixed). I will buy GE next time.

    Bought the dryer from Best Buy about a month ago. Went to use it this morning will not turn. Called Best Buy all they could say is too bad call manufacturer. Need to take a day off just so they can come and look to see if it is covered by warranty...in the meanwhile back a laundromat!!!

    Maytag Repairman Very Busy

    I don't remember a brand of new washer dryer in my lifetime that have needed repair so often. They are not made for the heavy usage we give them with a large family. Too many fancy sensors that go bad.
