Weve tried A few different ways and still havent been able to record any tv shows

I have had this computer for about three weeks.So far I am pleased it. It seems to be a good choice for a middle of the road computer.

It's clear with great captions, and many channels.

Purchased this so we could use our older TV that doesn't have a built-in digital TV tuner. Our cable provider recently switched to an all digital signal but doesn't require a cable box if the TV has a digital tuner. This unit allows us to watch and record TV shows with our older TV. No need to pay a monthly fee to the cable provider for these services.

have a digital converter with a tunerless dvr now and needed a backup price was right

This is a pretty full featured DVR that connects in-line between your antenna and TV. It works well.

Got it for the pvr and hoping that it would get off the air channels better than my Dish receiver. It does the job perfectly.

for the price it was a good buy. i cannot get a few channels i am used to but i can adjust.

Wonderful! We picked one up for a projected image 112" size. This worked way better than expected. Picked up 60 - 70 channels with a no-boost antenna, located above the garage. So a lot of nifty features, I don't think I'll be recording, or using stop playback features, just wanted it for ota sports programming and a few network shows that we like to watch.

I needed a couple of tuners since I cut my cable connection. My purchase consisted of two tuners to be used with my projectors which don't have tuners built in. I added a couple of antennas and it is working fine. Just be mindful, the stronger the antenna reception is the more channels you will pick up when scanning. I may eventually add an outside antenna for a more consistent signal. So far no issues.

Works ok but not the best quality. Remote is very flimsy. Have to point straight on at the box and push the buttons very hard to get it to work. Long delays in screen changes once you do push it. Instruction and information screen stays on way to long after the channel changes. Got rid of cable. Good. Frustrating to use. Bad.

So far so good. Hasn't cut out like the old one, which finally died. But it had cut on in and out since we bought it (different brand).

Always wanted to own my own DVR player so as to not have to pay extra to cable company

Bought this to use with an old projection TV. Hook up was easy and I now have 41 channels which great reception

This display box works as expected with my indoor HD antenna. It is a little clunky with the programming and controls, but you basically get what you pay for.

Easy setup and works great with small HD antenna and lots of free HD channels!

My vizio did not come with an OTA on it. This lets me see weather reports when the directv is out. Got it for a great price.

The only short coming is the DVR function doesn't support calendar date, station and time recording setting as some other manufacturers provide.

Finally. The ideal tuner that I was looking for, for my VCR that doesn't it's own tuner or coaxial connections to recieve local broadcast for recording. Plus I will enjoy the USB port provided to also record on a flash drives or by adding a portable hard drive. Being full HD and 1080P, makes it a complete upgrade for my recording and the capabilities of the remotes functions gives it an extra plus.
