Perfect for my needs

While the instructions do not suggest using with an external drive without power, it powered an external drive and wrote the content to disk for me. Really like having full HD now from over air, so much that I am considering getting a more powerful antenna. Could be a little better with the program guide, but it does everything it advertises it will do.

Works OK, not great

A good unit for the price to record OTA programs

A very affordable unit to be able to record and play OTA (over the air) tv programs. Of course you have to provide an external USB storage device but the us your choosing of how much capacity to procure to how much you want to save.

Very difficult to operate

Instructions very hard to understand. Thank goodness we had a bi of knowledge of hooking up this sort of equipment. The scheduling is very confusing. I would not recommend.
