It works great with my over the air anttana. You ha have to pay attention to the remote details. And setting up the channel search. But you can record a LOT of programs, I have set up St least #0 of my shows. From pm to am. Play back and learning you can fast forward thur commercials

Since our tv didn't have a tuner, this item was perfect

Instructions are hard to follow. Setup seemed a bit complicated.

After cutting the satellite TV cord, we tried this box for recording over the air programs. It did not do a good job at all. It was returned to Best Buy.

So far so good. I returned another converter box that I purchased in March that died. But I want to give props to Luis who assisted me with my return and the exchange. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and helpful.

need to ad usb memory like external hard drive or flash stick

I am only using it as a digital tuner, not as a video recorder. Brought my old Mitsubishi 73" back to life as its' built-in tuner had died. Now I get about 60 over the air digital channels from Baltimore, Annapolis, and DC.

Although this device converted digital to analog signals okay, its recording left a lot to be desired. Lots of dropouts and pixelation on recordings made of broadcasts that had been pristine. Meant one could only watch live, not recorded broadcasts.

It’s not bad. Says it records shows but does not come with a hard drive. It’s only 1080p and the software is slow. If you don’t care about those things, it’s fine.

This was an excellent choice when my girlfriend to record the shows that she used to record with the AT&T U-verse before we decided to cut the cable. She's just happy that she can still record her favorite shows.

Product did not tell me that I needed extra storahe in order to use. Nor did the salesman point that out

I have watched and scheduled different times to record different TV programs for half year without any problem. This month I bought the second one for my brothers-in-law who lives in Canada. He and his family love this TV converter box especially the recording features.

Now learning that a usb flash drive will not work as a storage device with this unit. Now searching for a hard drive to connect to this unit to make it useable. Frustrating learning curve. Clerk was clueless on this product.

the only fault I could find is when playing a recorded show the picture pixels and breaks up several times, it may be a problem with my memory stick is not fast enough, not sure.

We love the Mediasonic Digital Converter Box. We receive 3 times the number of channels we use to receive on our old box and the channels are very clear.

I had to return it because it didn't do what I needed it to do. I wasn't sure it would even before I bought it but Best Buy made the return easy!

The converter box works fine but the remote stopped working after a couple of uses.

I thought for some reason it would give me better tv reception but it only records not what I was really needing.

I bought it to record from local TV channels for the old TV shoes. I have not used the recording function. but I was able to bring in quite a few channels. I bought a second one for my sister. Great price.
