Got this tuner mostly to use as a DVR which is does work very good for that purpose. The unit has a very sensitive tuner and pulled in stations far away. All this helps me get rid of Spectrum and their high cable TV bills. The HDMI output gives 1080p over the air that you can record to any thumb drive.

This is great for recording and viewing free live TV, the antenna is separate so you will need a TV antenna to catch signal and a memory card or external drive to store your recordings. Good price, free channels, recommended if you want to take full advantage of free over the air broadcast.

Easy to install. Product guide not very thorough. Converter itself works perfectly.

It does get more channels than the coaxial built into my TV, but it can be a little finicky. After several adjustments, it works better than just the TV coaxial PLUS I can get my channels through HDMI. I haven't used the DVR function.

love this converter box better than any other ones I have owned as it turns on with my smart TV and resets itself so you do not have to turn it off and on manually. If I am watching netflix and am not using the converter box it goes into sleep mode. Highly recommend for anyone needing to puchase one.

Best performance and features at this price point. If all you need are the basics, this unit really delivers. A little difficult to learn, as the manual is less than totally helpful. Internet searches for information proved most helpful in getting to know how to use this unit most productively.

I can record sports programs on my hard drive and I can watch whenever I want. Good product at good price!

I've had a few OTA tuners with PVR function. Eventually they stop working, are hard to get up, don't work right. I really like this one. Easy to set up. Great instruction manual. The remote is full size and easy to use. So far it's working great. Would recommend.

Love the vox clear picture and does not go in and out

Our satellite provider, AT&T dropped NBC from their lineup We waited for them to resolve their issues with NBC got tired of the excuses and the waiting. We purchased the converter box and now receive the NBC channel and the box box works great!!! Very much satisfied and if they drop carrying other channels, we are prepared!!!

It's an affordable tv receiver. Wasn't expecting great things and wasn't disappointed

Requested a DVR from the salesman and was told this would work. Nothing was said about needing a hard drive to complete the process. But once I get and install the hard drive I'm sure I'll be extremely happy.

The device was easy to set up. It has many features that I do not use such as digital video recording and USB multimedia player. I have an old Zenith TV and it works fine with it as a converter box.
