i have used many many of bluetooth transmitters over the years from usb to whatever and majority of them were terrible a lot of static losing its reception from a very short distance..but this device put the other device's to shame because it really works and i did use with inputs via the optical and 3.5 and i would have to say it's simply the best bluetooth device of this type that i ever used it works perfectly with my JBL headphones oh and its very very easy to use and setup and also it has 0 audio lag

I have an older TV and was trying to figure out a way to connect my Bluetooth Speaker to and TV so I could get some stereo quality from some of my movies. This was the only way I could make it work. The only downside is I have to turn the volume on the TV all the way down and then the only way to control the Bluetooth volume it to get up and manually turn it up or down. (My speaker does not have a remote control) Otherwise it is a good little device.

MEE Bluetooth Transmitter worked great for me!

After spending hours and hours researching how I could use a pair of Bluetooth headphones to listen to audio on my Sony XBR television, I finally found the tool to get the job done. The MEE was very easy to pair with my Beats Solo headphones. I used the 3.5 plug. First I had to disconnect the headphones from my computer Bluetooth, because it was making the pairing with the MEE difficult. I used the 3.5 audio plug because the Sony XBR 850 was using the optic slot to send audio to my Sony Sound Bar. As soon as I plugged in the 3.5 plug, the sound on the TV went off, but it was in the headphones. For the Sony, you need to go into HOME, Sound, and select the box that turns off the TV's sound...when headphones are being used. You need to reverse it..when you are through with the headphones, so you can hear the sound from the TV again. The MEE has not lost the Bluetooth pairing since I started it up. Sound on my regular TV is kept at about 20...sound on the headphones needs to be around 60, but will revert back to 20 when you quit the phones and go back to the regular television sound. Spent $60 at my local Best Buy for the MEE transmitter but it was worth it. The MEE comes with a nice long 3.5 audio cord, long enough charger cord, and a optic cord. I did not have to buy any additional extensions to install the MEE. The MEE sits on top of my DVD player...just because it is handy there. It could be mounted out of site with velcro...but, I wanted it easily accessible in case it needed to be (re)paired off and on. Worth the money. Note that the Sony XBR 55-850B 4K Smart TV...apparently comes with a "Bluetooth" of sorts, but it is only for the "mouse" that comes with the TV...or so the manual says.

I have two of these because they are easy to connect to my LG TV and allow 4 wireless headsets to be connected at the same time. It keeps the house quiet when the Grandkids are watching their shows. It's also great because everyone can listen as loud as they want. I would recommend it!

Excellent sound quality with no lip sync issues

Also very easily paired with any Bluetooth headphones. You just press the button labeled "A" in the picture once, once the headphones are in pairing mode, and it's done! Also quite a long range, I was outside with no drop-off. Good bass I'd say, but I'm not an extreme audiophile. As mentioned in the summary of this review, one of my biggest concerns was alleviated once I tried it the first time. There's absolutely no lip sync issue, and mine is connected via RCA cables (adapter included) so I imagine a connection via a direct 3.5 mm cable (also included) or optical cable (also included) would be just as good. It's the Bluetooth version that I'm sure gives the good lip syncing. It's just like watching tv without the headphones. Definitely worth the price, and no need to buy the product that comes with its own headphones. Your own headphones will work I'm sure.

Fan.tas.tic. is all I can say about this transmitter. It not only does it's job, but it does it well! I tried multiple combinations of other transmitters and converters and the sound from my 4K Blu-Ray player just wasn’t great or even good at all through my headphones, but then I came across this and saw that it supported optical input and I had to try it! Extremely easy setup, took 2 minutes maybe to setup and pair my headphones. It has a dual device connection option, optical or 3.5mm connection, zero delay/lag and even has a battery inside that I didn't know about! I will absolutely recommend this to anybody who is looking for an optical bluetooth transmitter!

On 11/20/17 i purchased a LG 65 Inch TV (65UJ6050) and BOSE Quietcomfort 35 ii Head Phones. The TV is a cheap model and does not have Blue Tooth Capabilities so i was not able to pair the Head Phones with the TV. i Researched this device and was not confident buying it due to some poor ratings and the fact that i could not find any reviews using expensive Bose headset to pair with LG TV. so I took a chance and purchased the MEE Audio connect from Best Buy with the feeling that i might be returning it. The device paired very easy with my BOSE headphones. It was getting it to work that was a little tricky. I paired the devise with my Headphones before plugging in any other cables. Only the USB power plug into the TV and other end into the device. My BOSE has an App on my phone so i could see that Blue tooth was connected. First I tried the Audio RF cables(Red & White ones ) as my TV does not have Headphone Jack cable input . That did not work. (maybe I should have unplugged the Sound bar completely but had not) I removed them and tried the (square) Optical cable that is provided. I already had a sound bar connected with the same type of Optical cable, my sound bar is not a transmitter so i could not use it to send signal to the head phones, I had to unplug the "square" Optical cable for the sound bar and put in the one provided in the box. Now for the more difficult part, Then had to go to the TV settings and toggle off internal speakers to output /external speakers. At first it did not work. i then unplugged and disconnected the sound bar completely from the TV. (HDMI cable that was still connected.) I switched off the headphone Blue tooth connection and restarted it. And it worked, I tried watching Tv and the sound is good. Sound was sync with picture and decent volume. When i went back to tv setting after having it on regular speakers the HP did not work, i then switched off the HP Blue tooth and back on and it picked up the signal again.

Works with XBox One and Bose QC35 II headphones

For some crazy reason, the modern game consoles (e.g. XBox One) don't support Bluetooth. So, I was looking for a solution to use with my new Bose QC35 II headphones (that don't currently support aptX, argh). I found a community post that recommended this product, so I thought I would give it a try. I tried the Avantree product, but it didn't work. The tricky part was that I have the digital audio from the XBox going to my Yamaha AV receiver for surround sound. So, I had to also get a JTech digital audio splitter, which works great, one end to the Yamaha, and the other end to this product. One important note for the XBox is that you have to change the digital audio output from "Bitstream" to "Stereo Uncompressed", otherwise this will not work. This is a requirement for any of these Bluetooth transmitters since they can't do Bitstream/DTS/Dolby. I paired the Mee to my Bose headphones, and it works perfectly. However, because it is regular Bluetooth, there is a very slight almost imperceptible lag in the audio, but that's not the fault of this product. It's because Bose doesn't support aptX, shame on them, now I wish I had bought the Sony headphones, which does support aptX for super low latency.
