Would not connect to Bose Bluetooth headphones. Spent 45 min with various outputs from my AV receiver. No joy.

Excellent sound quality with no lip sync issues

Also very easily paired with any Bluetooth headphones. You just press the button labeled "A" in the picture once, once the headphones are in pairing mode, and it's done! Also quite a long range, I was outside with no drop-off. Good bass I'd say, but I'm not an extreme audiophile. As mentioned in the summary of this review, one of my biggest concerns was alleviated once I tried it the first time. There's absolutely no lip sync issue, and mine is connected via RCA cables (adapter included) so I imagine a connection via a direct 3.5 mm cable (also included) or optical cable (also included) would be just as good. It's the Bluetooth version that I'm sure gives the good lip syncing. It's just like watching tv without the headphones. Definitely worth the price, and no need to buy the product that comes with its own headphones. Your own headphones will work I'm sure.

Fan.tas.tic. is all I can say about this transmitter. It not only does it's job, but it does it well! I tried multiple combinations of other transmitters and converters and the sound from my 4K Blu-Ray player just wasn’t great or even good at all through my headphones, but then I came across this and saw that it supported optical input and I had to try it! Extremely easy setup, took 2 minutes maybe to setup and pair my headphones. It has a dual device connection option, optical or 3.5mm connection, zero delay/lag and even has a battery inside that I didn't know about! I will absolutely recommend this to anybody who is looking for an optical bluetooth transmitter!

On 11/20/17 i purchased a LG 65 Inch TV (65UJ6050) and BOSE Quietcomfort 35 ii Head Phones. The TV is a cheap model and does not have Blue Tooth Capabilities so i was not able to pair the Head Phones with the TV. i Researched this device and was not confident buying it due to some poor ratings and the fact that i could not find any reviews using expensive Bose headset to pair with LG TV. so I took a chance and purchased the MEE Audio connect from Best Buy with the feeling that i might be returning it. The device paired very easy with my BOSE headphones. It was getting it to work that was a little tricky. I paired the devise with my Headphones before plugging in any other cables. Only the USB power plug into the TV and other end into the device. My BOSE has an App on my phone so i could see that Blue tooth was connected. First I tried the Audio RF cables(Red & White ones ) as my TV does not have Headphone Jack cable input . That did not work. (maybe I should have unplugged the Sound bar completely but had not) I removed them and tried the (square) Optical cable that is provided. I already had a sound bar connected with the same type of Optical cable, my sound bar is not a transmitter so i could not use it to send signal to the head phones, I had to unplug the "square" Optical cable for the sound bar and put in the one provided in the box. Now for the more difficult part, Then had to go to the TV settings and toggle off internal speakers to output /external speakers. At first it did not work. i then unplugged and disconnected the sound bar completely from the TV. (HDMI cable that was still connected.) I switched off the headphone Blue tooth connection and restarted it. And it worked, I tried watching Tv and the sound is good. Sound was sync with picture and decent volume. When i went back to tv setting after having it on regular speakers the HP did not work, i then switched off the HP Blue tooth and back on and it picked up the signal again.

Works with XBox One and Bose QC35 II headphones

For some crazy reason, the modern game consoles (e.g. XBox One) don't support Bluetooth. So, I was looking for a solution to use with my new Bose QC35 II headphones (that don't currently support aptX, argh). I found a community post that recommended this product, so I thought I would give it a try. I tried the Avantree product, but it didn't work. The tricky part was that I have the digital audio from the XBox going to my Yamaha AV receiver for surround sound. So, I had to also get a JTech digital audio splitter, which works great, one end to the Yamaha, and the other end to this product. One important note for the XBox is that you have to change the digital audio output from "Bitstream" to "Stereo Uncompressed", otherwise this will not work. This is a requirement for any of these Bluetooth transmitters since they can't do Bitstream/DTS/Dolby. I paired the Mee to my Bose headphones, and it works perfectly. However, because it is regular Bluetooth, there is a very slight almost imperceptible lag in the audio, but that's not the fault of this product. It's because Bose doesn't support aptX, shame on them, now I wish I had bought the Sony headphones, which does support aptX for super low latency.

Great device, was able to pair with my jam transit buds for use with tv in our bedroom. My wife can still here the TV after pairing and I have a hearing loss and I don’t want to use my hearing aides while in bed. This device allows me to hear tv with my jam buds. This is great for hearing impaired and with the small size, able to use while traveling too. I have not paired a 2nd device as I really don’t need to at this time. I would highly recommend this for hearing impaired.

    Great Instructions

I purchased this product to help me better hear my TV. Thanks to great instructions it was easy to install and put to work. I installed it on a TCL TV and used Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro to replace TV speakers and soundbar. The volume in the Buds Pro was too low for my use. So I went back to the soundbar. My neighbors 100 yards away said they can hear my soundbar just fine. I think my ears need to be replaced. Unfortunately the aliens have not released that tech just yet. I am not saying this product is at fault. It worked as advertised. Just not with my particular setup. I can't afford $399 for Sony's latest to see if they make a difference. Maybe my neighbors will gift me?

Have a non-smart tv that's just way too good to 'retire' so I put it in a room where I can still use it - problem is I needed a Bluetooth connection so I could wear headphones and not wake up the wife with my post-midnight viewing. This solved the problem perfectly. Ran an optical lead from tv to the unit and was up & running in no time. If you have a non-Bluetooth tv and wish to do the same, this MEE gadget will fix you up.

This device has been a frustration. I have always had difficulty getting it to pair. Now I can’t get it to pair at all. The volume is adjusted by the headphones, not the tv volume. I have had it several years, when it worked it was wonderful, but after spending the last hour trying to connect I am giving up and am going to get something else.

My granddaughter has an issue with noise when it is time for her to go to bed. When I bought my TV a few years ago the audio out jack just never crossed my mind. Not being a tech friendly person it just never occurred to me.We found this device so we could listen to the TV after she goes to bed. As long as we have only one earphone being used at a time it works well. If we try to use both headsets they cut each other out. I am Heading back into town tomorrow to get it exchanged. Today when I was using the device it kept turning off. I thought that maybe it was my earphones but after purchasing three of them and having the same thing happen, I don't think it is me. So, I hope that the exchange will fix the issue. It would be nice to watch TV in peace. :)

My neighbors complained that my TV was too loud, so I thought this would be a simple solution since my TV doesn’t have Bluetooth. I just had two problems: 1) Pairing it with my second generation Airpods is incredibly difficult. 2) There’s no way to control the volume using the optical cable, and it’s much too loud as is.
