I use this with Sony WH 1000XM3 headphones. The initial set up was easy and pairing was quick and easy. Subsequent pairings are instant as soon as I turn the headphones on. The instructions were as clear and concise as can be expected these days. The range was very good as long as there were no obstructions such as walls or glass doors. Even with obstructions I would say the range was about 15 to 20 feet depending. Overall I am satisfied with the product. The reason for 4 stars is the range not being as far as I’d like but I am not sure if other products have better range.

This little device was the perfect thing for my mother -- she wanted some headphones to be able to listen to her TV late at night without bothering other people in the house. I got this hooked up to her TV in just a few minutes, paired it with her headphones and she was good to go.

Works great. Bought a new highest end Vizio 4K tv and for $1800 it didn’t have Bluetooth. Thanks Vizio. Bought this little gem and now I can use my Bose 700 headphone with my tv. Really easy to set up. Works flawlessly. And sounds as awesome as it would connecting to my iPhone. What more could I ask for? Well besides Vizio cutting corners.

I was looking for an affordable and viable solution that would allow me to utilize my Bluetooth wireless headset so that I could enjoy my new LD 55-inch TV with Bluetooth capabilities. This transmitter fit the bill. It took 30 second to install and pair the headphones with my TV. Now I can enjoy crystal clear sound without disturbing my wife who has excellent hear and prefers to keep volume low.

My MEE audio - Connect Universal Dual-Headphone Bluetooth Audio Transmitter was quite easy to set up, with well designed diagrams for connections. I use my bluetooth audio transmitter with my TVs, laptop and mp3 player, and the audio is very good through my wireless headphone. There are two settings on the audio transmitter, allowing for two separate headphone pairings.

Great product! Bought this because TVears cost is prohibitive and didn’t like the hoop hanging from my head. Now I can connect using my own wireless headphones or ear buds. Connects quickly, and can connect a second set so both us can have separate volume levels. Great if you have small children or guests in the house or don’t want to disturb the neighbors.

Went to purchase a cheaper product, however after speaking with a Best Buy employer who just purchase this device recommended it. I am very pleased with the product, provides great sound quality. I mainly use it to watch tv with my Bluetooth headset so I don't disturb my wife while she is sleeping. However, I did purchase a second on for the living room which I have easily connected to my Amazon Alexa for sound in the kitchen. I don't think you can go wrong with this product, high quality sound, easy to use and connects without problems.

I like that it is small and doesn't take up much space on my desk. It works well with my bose quiet comfort 35 II. Has a rechargable battery for on the go. can accept 3.5 mm stereo standard head phone plug or digital optical. Can transmit to 2 separate headphones. It is expensive though, my only gripe.

Bought the MEE audio AF-T1B bluetooth transmitter to see if we could connect our LG TV to the Bose SoundLink Mini we got for Christmas and easily bring the speakers closer to us so we would not need to play our tv so loud. Worked Great. Setup was simple. We tested the connect to 2 devices feature and found it would also connect with a bluetooth headset we had and both worked at the same time. We won't use them together but found this interesting. We will only use the Soundlink mini. Another point of interest, we have an Xtreme Bluetooth audio adapter (51901) Receiver "dongle" that we occaisionally use with external PC speakers to play music from our iPad. It essentially makes them wireless bluetooth speakers. I could not successfully pair and play music to them with the MEE audio adapter. I presume it has something to do with Bluetooth levels. This may be a concern to some. I would recommend the MEE Audio Connect universal Dual Bluetooth wireless audio transmitter. I would like it if it was less expensive but did not want to wait for a sale or discount opportunities.

I bought this to add to our bedroom TV. Sound carried down the hall and disturbed the kids at night, and we were tired of fighting with the corded headphones and splitter we used to get sound through our streaming box remote. The transmitter was out of the box, connected, and powered up within 5 minutes. I read the instructions, but the unit is so intuitive to use I could have skipped them. The transmitter included all the cables needed and in more generous lengths than I expected. In case it isn't clear in the product description, this transmitter DOES allow connection to two headphones. Pairing is simple and even works with our bone conduction headphones, a fairly niche product. Sound quality is great, there is seldom any audio lag, and the range is impressive. I wish I had known about this product sooner. I'm also glad I didn't spend significantly more money on headset and transmitter combo unit.

We purchased this as an addition to our outdoor TV. This product is the link we needed to have our wireless bluetooth headphones work with our TV. Since so many of the programs now are difficult to hear & understand and of course, the commercials are really loud, we didn't want to keep turning up and maybe being too loud for neighbors. We decided that headphones would be best at certain times of the day or with certain programs. Our TV was not Bluetooth ready, so to make the headphones work, we needed this piece of equipment to have the TV & headphones work together. It was easy to set up and then it worked! Worked so well, I have ordered another one for my husband & grandson to use in our kitchen!

My wife is hearing impaired. About 75% loss in conversational frequencies. Raising volume on TV is not effective as it becomes just muddled with other noises in most broadcasts. This device was very simple to install and configure. She has two sets of headphones. Both paired easily and they consistently have remained connected. Of course, there is a very slight delay in what she gets via her ear buds and the volume on the TV. That's pretty normal for any assistive device. It's not a show stopper, by any means. She's been very satisfied with this transmitter. We use the USB connection, so it does not need recharging or to plugged into an outlet. We are both pleased with this product. I have normal hearing, so the volume can be set comfortably for me and she can more easily hear dialog, as well. For anyone who wants or needs a transmitter of this type, be it assistive or merely for privacy, this is a reasonably priced and effective device. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I bought this for my dad. He is in his mid-seventies and runs the TV on Mach 2 most of the time. The MEE audio fixed that issue by giving him the freedom to have the audio sent wirelessly to a pair of Bluetooth headphones. The setup was simple with easy to follow instructions. I have tried three other components that didn't get the job done because TV's now days tend to have only optical audio output. The MEE audio was the only one of the three that would accept optical out and transmit a wireless signal from that source.

Very useful adapter for my flatscreens without bluetooth capability. Great bluetooth connectivy, range and audio quality.

Good Bluetooth transmitter. My wife is a little hard of hearing and this is saving my hearing. Instead of having the TV volume at levels painful for me the MEE transmits the TV sound to a set of Bose headphones for her and I can either listen to the TV through its speakers or use my sound bar. The MEE Transmiter can transmit to two headphones or in my case one headphone and TV sound bar. The only problem is that it occasionally becomes unlinked to the sound bar if I haven't used it for some time. In fact, I'm thinking about buying another for our bedroom TV.

The connection was easy both to the audio source and to the bluetooth headset. The range is very good. I was able to get over 30' away with intervening wood lath and plaster walls. The delay with audio matching the source video was noticeable on lower quality broadcasts but improved with higher resolution broadcasts. It comes with an optical cable, so, that was a plus. I do not have an opinion on the battery life because I power through the micro-usb.

Such a big sound from such a small thing. Easy to connect, long battery life, lots of possibilities to hook up to the array of sources. Highly recommend!

Here are notes I wrote while using my new MEE audio Connect Hub: I discovered today that my 2008 Sony Bravia’s optical out works fine, so long as I’m sending a sound source (like from a DVD player or computer) into the TV. The TV antenna/broadcast signal won’t exit the optical out into the Bluetooth transmitter but will exit the analog L&R audio out to it. (I subsequently (*after I wrote most of this) found some forums that explained why, and why the TV’s volume control can’t control the the audio signal exiting the TV’s optical out. Sony customer service certainly didn’t know anything about this as shown in a chat transcript I saved. I should have printouts of each). So I left both the analog & the optical lines plugged into the Bluetooth transmitter respective line-ins. **I have the passthrough analog line out from the transmitter to my analog stereo system & can simply press the transmitter’s analog/optical mode button to toggle back and forth between optical (for when I I use the Bluetooth headphones with anything besides the TV antenna signal) & analog (for when I want to listen to TV through my Bluetooth headphones or listen to anything through the speakers via my analog stereo system). [**This analog passthrough setup is ok, but I figured-out a better way. I don’t need to pass anything through the Bluetooth transmitter. I can simply keep the analog audio out RCA L&R from my TV connected to my stereo & unplug the 3.5 mm plug from my TV’s headphone jack anytime I want to listen to the TV broadcast (or any other source (like computer) going through my TV) through my stereo system’s speakers and my TV’s speakers. (Set-up in my Sony TV’s Audio Options are as follows: Speakers/(select TV or external speakers): Speakers Audio Out/(select volume control source): fixed (though sometimes I prefer variable)) ] If I get a house, wherein I can get (& loudly play) a surround system with optical in, I can run the passthrough optical line out to said digital system. (Written earlier than *above): *I also noticed that the TV’s volume control won’t control the volume (& that the Bluetooth transmitter’s volume boost button can’t boost the volume) when the Bluetooth transmitter mode is toggled to optical connection, unlike when the Bluetooth transmitter’s mode is toggled to analog connection. In my analog wired connection to the transmitter, I found that if I sent the analog audio signal out from my TV’s 3.5 mm headphone jack (which mutes the TV’s speakers), the volume in my Bluetooth headphones was louder and fuller-toned than from the TV’s RCA right & left audio out. The device’s Bluetooth transmission range as stated in the manual (which MEE Audio’s 1-626-965-1008 customer service person said was because of its antenna), is much longer than/doesn’t ever drop the signal unlike when I’m using any of my other devices that have Bluetooth transmitters in them (like my computer & smart phone & Bluetooth speaker). All in all, despite some of these maybe 2008 Sony TV set-related inconsistencies, this is a great product. Addendum. When I later paired a 2nd Bluetooth receiver with the MEE Audio Transmitter-Receiver, there was more lag between voice and video than when just using one Bluetooth receiver with it. The 2nd Bluetooth transmitter/receiver I used (model SK-BTI-018) specified in its manual that it was atpX codec-ready in receiver mode; but unfortunately, the MEE audio Connect Hub’s codec indicator displayed SBC instead of atpX. This was still the case when I un-paired the other (not model SK-BTI-018) and just had one Bluetooth receiver paired with the MEE audio Connect Hub. So I’m looking for a compact Bluetooth receiver I can plug my (light headphones into) that is indeed atpX or atpX LL-ready.
