I needed a blue tooth adapter for television . I purchased a less expensive unit only to learn I needed optical cable connection. The television only had optical output. The MEE unit was very easy to set up and works great. Don't try to save money. Get a MEE unit and it will work. Batter live is also very good.

We bought this so that our children could use headphones when watching TV without having the TV volume so loud that it was heard throughout the house. With 4 kids of various ages, the ones watching TV often turned the volume up very loud so that it could be heard above other kids and activities in the house. With Mee Audio, that problem is solved. My wife can listen to her music in the kitchen as she cooks while one of the kids is sitting next to her at the bar watching TV with the headphones. It's done what we wanted it to do, and we're very happy with the purchase. The device itself was easy to connect to the TV, but we did go through a few pair of headphones trying to find ones that would consistently reconnect automatically between uses. We eventually got that worked out, though.

This device is easily installed and the pairing is just as easily connected. It does not require batteries which is a big plus for me. Very much worth the cost.

Worked like a charm. I bought it because I'd bought a new TV that had neither a headphone jack nor Bluetooth, and I like watching with earbuds sometimes. This little device worked fine, converting my TV's digital optical sound output to Bluetooth. I have to admit that after a few days I returned both the TV and this transmitter, spent a little more, and got a TV with Bluetooth built in, just for the sake of convenience and simplicity. But this transmitter worked great and did the job I wanted.

I have this tied to the optical out on my outdoor TV to an outdoor Bluetooth Amplifier. While it was a bit challenging to get the two devices to pair (no place to enter a PIN code on my amp), it eventually did pair. Range is up to 50 feet without signal loss. Overall, a really great purchase.

If you need to add a bluetooth feature to your TV, this is one to get. Works as advertised. I was able to add a bluetooth headphone to my TV without any issues.

This receiver does what it's supposed to do and connects easily. In my opinion it's a little overpriced compared to similar offerings from other retailers, but otherwise it's a solid purchase.

Got this so myself and husband or kids could plug multiple headphones in one device and listen to music or watch tv together without bothering the people around us and it works great. Easy setup, easy to use, and it serves it's purposely beautifully.

Have a tv mounted on a wall upstairs. Whole home audio is a traditional wired setup with the receiver in the basement. Used this device to create a Bluetooth stereo bridge to an Echo Dot connected to the receiver. Flexibilty of a 3.5 mm connector, red and white analog or spif digital is nice. Testing all three inputs I found the spif optical to be the best, but all worked adequately. I found the lag was different for each input. Had to adjust the latency on the tv to -4 for the tv to sync lips just right. Total distance from echo dot to this device is 30 feet (and through the floor). USB power from the tv means no hanging wires. Very happy with the product.

Works great! Just as intended. Pairs with my Bluetooth headphones immediately. Sound is fantastic. Follow the instructions including adjustments to your tv sound settings. Great purchase. I can watch tv late without disturbing anyone else.

I bought this to use in my travel trailer, and it works great. Before I bought the transmitter, it was hard to hear the TV in my travel trailer when the air conditioner was running. I connected a bluetooth speaker to the transmitter, and I can now hear the TV with no problem.

Our Smart Tv wasn't compatible with bluetooth headphones. So I bought this to work with the headphones I bought for my husband, so we didn't have to listen to the TV so loud because of his hearing impairment. Works great! The headphone I bought are JBL's, and don't have any problems with them connecting to this.

Perfect for dealing with someone hard of hearing, while I get to save my ears.

I have a 10 year old Panasonic receiver in my home entertainment system. I wanted to add Bluetooth to the system so I could use my new Bose earphones. I was advised by the salesmen that this device would do the job. I hooked them up and they worked well. Not hard to do. Much cheaper than a new receiver.

What a pleasant experience! I opened the package, installed it as the instructions said and it worked. No returns, no call to tech support, no problems. The BestBuy guy listened to me when he asked what I needed, walked over to the shelf, removed the package and said "Here you are." And he was right.

My needs are simple: a transmitter for my TV because my neighbors LOVE CONSTRUCTION. Enter MEE audio. This little device connects easily to a USB port on a video game device and connects my Bose Noise Cancelling headphones to my TV! With that being said, I docked a star for performance. Sometimes I'll try to connect and have to manually configure the audio settings on my TV. Sometimes my headphones will connect automatically as soon as they are turned on. Sometimes the audio lags just a smidge. It's very much a mixed bag when using but nothing so drastic that I still wouldn't recommend!

I bought this to listen to TV on the LG smart tv. Installation was very easy and it connects instantly and easily using Bluetooth on my headset and the fiber connection on the tv. If you want to have a clear sound without disturbing others you can't beat this unit.
