Customers are saying
Customers appreciate the fun gameplay and the value for the price of the Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 + 2. Many also highlight the portability and the helpful rewind feature. However, some customers express frustration with the digital download codes for part of the collection and find the difficulty challenging. The large download size required for some games is also a point of concern for some buyers.

Ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game itself is good but only half of game is on cart. Would not have bought it if I knew that. Paid full price for half a game not cool capcom...!

Don't buy this game physical
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What is the point of buying a physical game like this if the consumer has to download the second game. Buy this game digitally.

will wait for digital sale
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a LONG TIME classic Mega Man & X fan but I will NOT be supporting physical DAY ONE because how capcom handled Mega Man classic series physical release for Nintendo switch as a REMINDER collection ONE 1-6 is on the game card but collection TWO 7-10 you have to download that. Which is about 5 GB Capcom could have put all 10 games on a slightly bigger sized physical card but instead decided to release physical version CHEAPEST way possible NES games are TINY in memory size. the biggest file would be Mega Man 8 Not to mention many YEARS FROM NOW when collection is long OUT OF PRINT and nintendo eshop is shut down. Switch owners won't able to experience Mega Man legacy collection 2 because with USED games the download code will be redeemed already. Plus downloads have a CERTAIN TIME LIMIT and once that number of months or year has passed then the code voucher is WORTHLESS in my opinion this is what capcom should have done release both collections separately for $20 each Seeing this make me concerned for upcoming X collection "switch version" this is my PREDICTION X-X4 on a card and X5-X8 downloadable. If that happens to be the case which is most likely then I will just buy X set digitally

Good job Capcom
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a beautiful piece that really rewards fans of the genre and the series. After getting a chance to play it, I have fallen in love with Megaman and the platforming genre all over again. I love the rewind feature where you can erase your mistakes in an instant using the L trigger on the joy con, essentially allowing you to play through the levels quickly. It was a nice surprise to find what was inside the case. Not only is there some physical swag, but a nice little boost to my Nintendo gold coins as well (cartridge + download = 115 gold coins). All in all, couldn't be happier and is one of the best purchases for my Switch I've made thus far. Also picking up the Megaman amiibo to find out what the title menu will reward me with. Can't wait to find that out. Pick this up if you at all like platformers.

The perfect platform for the blue bomber
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nintendo Switch is the perfect platform for the Mega Man series. As a Mega Man lifer I've enjoyed the series in both home console and portable devices throughout the series' lifetime. It's absolutely fantastic to be able to play the original series on the Switch where I can play it on my 65" 4k TV or on the go in handheld mode.

A great port of Mega Man games
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a life-long Mega Man fan, I was very impressed with the ports in this collection. All of the gameplay has been just like playing the games on their original systems. My only complaint is that the second collection was a digital download code rather than the physical game card.

Wish it all was on a physical copy.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great chance to play these games again, only reason I knocked it one star is because you have to download the second half of games rather than it all be on a game drive.

Avoid Physically and Digitally
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This could have been on one cartridge. I could care less about the challenge modes and music players.I am sure many people would have been fine omitting those features to cram the game on a smaller cartridge. We also don't need the cloths. They could also make the artwork single sided. I am sure removing said things could have helped bring production costs down a bit to allow stuff to fit or allow for a bigger cart. If you buy digitally, you are giving them more of a reason to allow these "physical" copies. They want you to buy digitally. I suggest getting the collection on the Gamecube, Xbox, PS2, or the original cartridges. Hold on to your Wii for 9 and 10. I didn't buy Resident Evil, LA, WWE, and NBA. I bought the Japanese Climax Edition of Bayonetta. As of now, Mega Man 11 and the Street Fighter Collection are safe. Those I will be buying. **** However, you can buy Mega Man X Collection 2 physically from Japan.

When physical means digital
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Half of these are digital download codes. Eventually every game on the shelf will have no physical copy and no manual at all. Just an empty case with a download code. Capcom only speaks in green. So vote with your wallet people.

half the games aren't on the physical card
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pointless to buy this - get them both digital. At retail,1-6 are on the game card, and 7-10 are digital only (you get a voucher in the package). These games are very small in file size, no reason for this, so don't support releases abusing this half 'n half policy for collections. Just get them both digital (ends up being 35 bucks).

Half are downloads
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.40 dollars for a collection that had everything on one disk on the ps2 that cost 20. Now half of them are downloads.
