I purchased this game because I am a megaman collector. However, this product is an inferior collection to a megaman anniversary collection that came out back on the gamecube, ps2, and xbox

Full of extras I did not expect; wish there were better save options in the menus of the game or you could save multiple games at the same time.

Really just got it for the amiibo. It has a plain white packaging and can be considered unique but I wish there was a background in the box

This is a nice anthology with a limited edition Amiibo. Great for collectors or fans of the series.

6 classic Mega Man games and more in one single bundle, as described. Packaged along the game is a bunch of amazing content for any Mega Man fan to enjoy; Music, Stickers, and free 3DS Themes with the Gold Amiibo. While the handling of the product was poorly managed, a few dents and cracks Isn't going to change how I feel about the actual bundle. It is a good buy.

For all Mega Man and Nintendo fans, this is a must have. Everything in here is so cool.

Pretty much the same as what everyone else is saying. What I really want is to share/merge all of the dlc/arcade games/etc... from multiple accounts onto the account I use. This is whats keeping me from buying certain software, like Rock Band 4, because I have different accounts with different dlc on them.

This game is pretty great the controls are iffy when selecting your "power suit" other than that it is very good. Way cheaper than picking up the NES versions. The amiibo on the other hand to me is ugly like the gold Mario amiibo but hey I collect them so picked the copy up with it.

Mega Man Legacy Collection Collector's Edition for 3DS is a disappointment. First, I'll talk about the non-game stuff it comes with. The amiibo comes in the laziest, cheapest box. It's just a regular amiibo box with the cardboard being entirely white. Couldn't even spare a bit of money to make it look nice eh, Capcom? When this Collector's Edition was announced, Capcom stated it would come with a CD soundtrack. At some point, this was discretely changed to a download code which really feels like a bait and switch. The included art postcards are not of the original art but instead of new art. Unfortunately, Mega Man looks rather bad in all six of them. Inside the game case itself and also included with the non-CE versions are four stickers and two download codes for 3DS home menu themes. The stickers are just stickers. I like the Dr. Wily logo sticker, but the other three are rather underwhelming. The two themes are both rather nice although they can be purchased separately anyway. Oddly, one theme is based on MM2's stage select screen but uses MM1's stage select music. Now for the game itself. Most of it is okay but not great. The games have brighter colors than on Virtual Console, but use a 1:1 pixel ratio instead of 4:3. It's fine for playing the games but it won't look like it did on a CRT TV. In addition to the six NES MM games, you can also play the Japanese version of each. There aren't many differences between the two versions of each game though. Most of the games play 99.9% fine (the games skip a frame about once every 10 seconds for some reason), but Mega Man 5 plays horrendously. MM5 constantly stutters at all times making the game look like it runs at 30 fps instead of 60 fps. It's probably because of very sloppy and lazy programming because Rockman 5 plays just as well as all the others. This is a problem because the challenge mode requires you to play the NA version of all the games, so you'll sometimes go from a smoothly running section to a stuttering mess from MM5. For anyone hoping for a patch, the developer pretty much confirmed that it's not happening already. The character and art galleries look nice although I'm not sure if they reduced the resolution for the 3DS version even though you can zoom in. Also, there are scans of the Japanese manual for each game, but the English manuals are not present. This seems like something odd to be left out. The challenge mode is okay. There's nothing new present in it as it just uses existing sections from the games. There's time ranking for each stage (preset rankings; no online leaderboards). That's all there is to the mode. Overall, I'm very disappointed at how little care they gave this collection, and that they couldn't even get the games to work 100% correctly.

I bought this for a friend, she said it was fun, but of course she likes Mega Man so, nothing really new here.
